This thread just goes through exactly the same cycle over and over again. No wonder it’s so long you people must suffer from memory loss.
Though we have been told a sad truth we must continue pushing this issue with 343. Yes Game Developers tend not to do what fans want, but for those like me who played ME3 and were extremely disappointed by the ending, it goes to shows that when enough of the community complain about what developers have done wrong with the game. That eventually developers they will give in, so that they don’t lose future business.
I hope 343 will give us Elites back in H4 multiplayer or as i have said in previous statements “one damn good reason”, as to why they have been sliced. Also why does Multiplayer have to be canon? Look at other games like COD, BF, Far Cry none of their multiplayer’s are integrated into canon. If The Multiplayer canon was removed from Halo 4, would there be a higher chance of getting Elites in Multiplayer?
Just had an idea but if 343 ever were to add elites into the game at a later stage couldn’t they create a independent story were we take control of some elites who managed to survive the Crash land to Requiem, similar to Spartan Ops but called something else.

They listend enough to take out armor lock, and nerf jetpack… They listened enough to make the movement speed and jump height better…

You sure about that. Every time we’ve gotten any information about elites we’ve posted on here. Read a couple pages back, and realise its definitley not the same as it was in the beggining. Secondly, i must point out there isnt a lot to talk about on this subject because the only news we really get about elites are one sentence here and there…

There isn’t a lot to talk about and yet it still gets to keep its own thread for some reason.
Meanwhile much bigger issues such as bloom, spread and AAs don’t have a massive thread on them. This is because it’s already done, it’s in the game and we can’t do anything about it anymore.
Alright keep this post going, 343i will eventually notice that the community would like the Elites to be Playable in multiplayer. Keep it going guys!

Sure but that doesnt mean we cant work to make it better. Bloom was implemented on two guns that we know of. It was reported by Killa KC to be hardly noticable. It was only featured on the DMR because if it wasnt then the DMR would be extremely overpowered.
Spread is to keep the BR from long range.
Tell me, whats so bad about Hologram, useless forunner vision, nerfed jetpack (ok that ones bad) and or active camo. I disagree with AC not being a pick up, but if Jetpack and AC were pick ups there would be nothing wrong.
They dont have massive threads on them because no one is driven to change them, to make them better. All the threads you see are just pure hatred against halo 4 because of items that were used in reach, at this point we dont even know how they work.
Anyway, on the subject of elites, we keep it going because we want change. You say this thread should have been locked, but in all truth we havent done anything wrong in it. Certainly its just becoming a place where we get flamed because we want the elites back, or because we refuse to live with th fact that they are gone, but we are fighting tooth and nail to get them back.
What would you guys do if an elite trilogy were announced and spartans confirmed out of multiplayer? Well thats how we’re reacting now.
The BR is back. There is no bloom on the BR. There is high jumping height. No more stupid health bars. I can deal with no elites in Halo 4 MM as long as it models Halo 3 gameplay, as it appears to.

This thread is probably the longest that has been created discussing halo 4 so far. It shows how many people want them back and how badly they are willing to keep at this forum so they can accomplish this goal. I can understand most of the other changes 343 is making. They shouldn’t just be making the same game with only a few minor changes in it. They need to make it feel fresh, but I don’t see how taking out playable elites is doing this. It,s boring to see only spartans all the time. Elites have added diversity in past halo games. The only reason I can see someone would want to get rid of them is in H3 SWAT, and that problem could be easily solved either by making their hitboxes to where it is fair or just banning them from that particular playlist. 343 has to have seen all the posts and realized how many of their fans want them back. Now they just need to take some action. hopefully we get some word on this soon.
BRING ELITES BACK 343!!!
P.S. it would be awesome if they had playable elites at E3.

Why? MP is going to have some ‘story’ placed behind it as a Spartan training simulator. The UNSC would have no reason to place their Spartans into Elite bodies for training purposes.
