Everyone in this thread feels the same way. I don’t know how Halo 4 will be without Elites In Multiplayer

The only info we have gotten is from the caption in GameInformer and a twitter post. I admit I would feel real limited if we found out this is false.
But we have been posting on this forum a lot and we know 343 has seen it and i dought they would let us post on this thread so often on something false. I hope we get an official statement about this directly from 343 soon. Maybe they will adress this at E3.
Even if we arn’t 100% sure that playable elites are out, I still hope they return. This forum shows how many people want hem back. 343 said they were listening, now it’s time to prove it.

I asked all of my friends earlier, when I told them about this, they all were astonished, since Elites really does make Halo Halo. Also, a couple of them mentioned unpleasant stuff, if the Elites doesn’t show up in matchmaking lol
The Elites have always been the race I choose when I have a chance. They make the Halo 3 multiplayer for me. Without them, I would be a dull Spartan. I like Spartans, but I don’t like being one 24/7. I want diversity, and I get that from Elites, not a large amount of Spartan Customization. BRING THEM BACK ONE DAY!

This is why they changed the ending to Fallout, and are changing the ending to Mass Effect 3?
The fact is I just don’t think they care. Chances are they don’t have an Elite player in 343i’s employment roster, and they don’t realize just what losing something like this MEANS for us.
Not only that, they are finally dangling the ability to spawn with Covenant weapons in front of our faces. I’ve ALWAYS wanted to be able to spawn with the Carbine instead of the BR, and Plasma Rifle instead of the Magnum, just so my Elite can feel complete. And now he could… If he were still in the game.

I have heard that there is a loadout with the plasma pistol as a secondary weapon.

You and me both. Hell, been playing as an elite figure since I first started off in my teens. whoever though that that the beginnings of my 20’s would start off sucking

It would be funny if they didn’t allow it, and the PP was just there for testing.

I like the officer, ranger, and zealot.
Anyways, I really would like to play as an elite in halo 4. It would be cool to spawn with sangheili weaponry so it would just feel more natural. I’ve always liked covenant weapons more. A lot of people feel the same way. We are dissapointed in 343s decision to take out something we love. I hope they have listened to us and are bringing them back. I know I would freak out and think 343 was the coolest developer ever, because they listen to their fans. Please 343, we are counting on you to make the best halo ever, and playble elites are apart of that.

Is he the only developer? The only person who is allowed to confirm things?
It said it during the GI article, nobody at 343 disputed this. It has also been asked many times on Twitter where 343 employees have confirmed it to be true.
