If they backs no longer cover their heads when turned around, I wouldn’t mind all that much. Still, I hate those different hitboxes.
Who’s to say just because it’s too late to put them in halo 4 (if they aren’t), that they wouldn’t put them in their future games again to play in matchmaking?

Well considering that Elite’s and Spartans do not look the same, no wonder they do not have the same hit boxes. Still, if they could possibly fix it up a bit, then it would be alright.

Now first off, in Glasslands it was stated that the program would also be welcoming SPARTAN-II’s that were unable to make it through the initial augmentations. As for the rest of the SPARTAN-II’s, they could volunteer in helping to train the new generation of SPARTANs.
As for your comment on them being the same size as the Chief, no. As opposed to previous Halo’s, John’s character model is seperate from the multiplayer model so they aren’t going to make it the same. And making the multiplayer model the same as John’s wouldn’t solve the problem of having to code multiple players. There are still the armor permutations and so on.
Also, given that the volunteers are all fully grown adults, the most the augmentations could really do regarding bones is increase density and durability. If you consider that the average height between males and females (I am using the U.S. as an example) is about 5’ 7", the most they would grow from bone treatment is probably around 1/2’. So getting them to be the same height as John would not work all that well. Especially given that he is 6’ 10" (without his armor).
The SPARTAN-III’s armor is indeed much cheaper than the SPARTAN-II’s, but they underwent augmentations similar to the SPARTAN-II’s (and around the same age as well). So they were almost as tall as John himself without their armor. The SPARTAN-IV’s will if anything, have LESS augmentations than the III’s. Or at least not as drastic.

I think they are going to be pirates or the religious nuts from glassland (can’t think of what thet’re called). This could give a reason for elites being in multiplayer. Some elites are trying to wipe out humanity while the others, like the Arbiter, have a truce with them. These elites could be training with the spartan IVs on the infinity.
I really hope 343 does something about this before too long. I want elites back, and so do a lot of other people. They need to listen to us.

So many thanks on one thread! Anyways, yeah I wish that the Elites would make a return, even though I usually play as UNSC. Elites are so fun to play as, and I’m much more of a better player as an Elite than a Spartan for some reason even though I usually play as a Spartan. Anyways, I guess 343 just wants us to focus on playing as Spartans, and it’d take more time for them to develop Elites into the game.
I highly doubt that 343 will put them into multiplayer though. As it wouldn’t go along with the Spartans training aboard the UNSC Infinity or whatever it’s called unless Elites are part of the training program as well.
You guys should go for 200 pages of “Bring back elites to Halo 4 multiplayer” threadom!

Really? Did you even read the original post? There are a lot of elte fans ou there, myself included. I always played as an elite in halo 3 and swat was my least favorite gametype. Swat isn’t the only reason people play as elites. We like to play as them because its something different. When you’re a spartan you’re a guy in a super suit wich is pretty cool, but when you’re an elite you’re a huge dinosaur alien with a super suit. I just want 343 to know that they are letting a lot of their fans down and hope they take action.

It’s like Me saying i wouldn’t really care if spartans were in Halo 4 Multiplayer, which i don’t Elites are way better. Before commenting on your opinion read the first page and look at how many people are wanting elites.

I don’t think it’s worth trying to bring them back for Halo 4. It’s too late since the game is nearly finished. However, if I were an Elite player, I would start trying to campaign to bring them back in Halo 5…
