The only things that have said elites won’t be in MM was the GameInformer issue and it was just a little caption box. 343 has been getting quite a bit of support on bringing elites back since then. I think they just didn’t really how big and passionate the elite fan base is. Hopefully 343 has heard us and is trying to figure out a way to satisfy all the fans they have let down with their decision to scrap playable elites. I hope maybe they just meant competitive and that elites will still be playable in social custom, and forge, even though I would love to see them in competitive. 343 has to have seen this thread and noticed how many people want elites back. hopefully we will get some straight answers from them soon.
BRING PLAYABLE ELITES BACK 343!!!
I hope some kind of new enemy will be playable in multiplayer, for the sole purpose of Machinima. Humans vs Aliens usually made for better sci-fi war scenes than Red Vs Blue, although of course Red vs Blue is great too

were up to 162 pages of posts how many more before we get an answer 343i 200? because if it is i am pretty sure we can make it so with our plea’s and query’s im sure most of the elite comunity will band together on that one.

This thread is 2 months old and is still getting posts, so clearly some of you haven’t gotten all the facts.
Frankie said that fans of the Elites will be “pleasantly surprised”, or something along those lines. I am a fan of the Elites and I’m an Elite in halo 3, but Elites aren’t in halo 4 mm for good reason. Go play swat on halo 3 and see how the Elites completely screw up the hit boxes (a game-breaking glitch). I hate to say it, but Elites honestly did cause some problems in gameplay.

Seriously though, hopefully the “new hero” teased by the oxm cover is like the arbiter’s cousin or something.
swat was never a biggy for me but i did play on the ocasion and no i learnt that you wait for the shot in generall that is how you play any way wait for the right shots so no i did not notice a game changer i noticed that i looked -Yoinking!- awsome as an elite

Hmm…Nope, I still got shot in the head quiet a lot as an Elite. during swat so…no changes on whether I was a Spartan or an Elite, I get the same results.

You’re not the only one who plays SWAT on H3 and H2 and gets shot in the head by Elites and Spartans constantly. XD

If it was 2,000 pages, 343 may not respond. And if their is nothing to say besides what is confirmed, then why come in here and post it? Focus o what we know and keep an eye on the horizon…
