I’m just glad they’re in. I don’t really care if you can or can’t play as them.

I was hoping once the war was over we would see a shift from the Black and White Morality of Humanity’s right everything else is Wrong to a deeper plot where everyone’s morality is in question. To see a wider perspective of this huge universe from something other then then the UNSC’s narrow vision.

Of course we are cheering for humanity. However now that war is over, and judging from the recent books (which I have indeed read), ONI will have been continuing their notorious tradition of being utter -Yoink!-s and royally screwed something over by the time Chief wakes up.
By no means do I want a Covenant Yoink Yeahhh! perspective either. I want a Nobody Yoink Yeaahh! perspective. Because not all Elite’s are bad and not all Human’s are good. But the way post war lore is going is portraying the Elite’s as stupid Human hating bigot’s to prepare them for their antagonist role in Halo 4. Honestly I wouldent be surprised if Telcam and friends do murder the Arbiter in Thursday War and new religious zealot’s now direct the Elite’s against Humanity. ONI’s a -Yoink- for supporting Telcam.
It does make me glad I prefer not sticking with humanities side because of what Oni is doing. I don’t know if it’s because they have an old grudge they have against the Sangheili, or are just plain -Yoinks!-, but either way they will surely not be forgiven…

Don’t forget that the books are also portraying ONI as a bunch of morally questionable -Yoink!-s. Seriously the fact that they are actively trying to destabilize a PEACE agreement ticks me off. Sure they have good intentions, they are trying to protect humanity. However, that’s not the way.
It’s true, there is good and bad on every side. And the reason it seems like the books are portraying the Elites as overzealous fools is because it is only focusing on a small group of them. I am sure we will see (or at least I hope) more factions of the Elites in “The Thursday War”. Maybe focus on the Arbiter and his followers.
And man do I hope you’re wrong about Thel dying in the next book.
two months on we still have no replie grunts are going to roll on odst for this
> two months on we still have no replie grunts are going to roll on odst for this
I myself am kinda questioning why…but none the less we are still going to continue onwards to get what the Sangheili do deserve as a spot for everyone to play as

Oh don’t worry I’m certainly not a fan of ONI’s work either, But there portrayal is inconsistent as well. Surely as an intelligence division they would knowing trying to place the Human hating SoAT in power over Thel’s peaceful faction is silly. It’s like when the U.S. supported Al Quada in Afganistan against the Soviet’s. That really bit them in the -Yoink- later.
My theroey is the Servant’s take power, and the Covenant Separatist’s under Telcam bring the Loyalist’s back into the fold including the Brute’s, Jackal’s and Drone’s. Explaining the confirmed presence of Jackal’s and Elite’s fighting Chief side by side. Maybe Thel has become the guerrilla once more or is dead? I’m not sure.
its not really on topic but atleast the thread keeps on flowing
If this thread receives up to 200 pages or so, I would be very impressed at the amount of support. Still, we got a few more pages before that completes this next decade of pages. We must continue for the sake of the Sangheili to be around.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the “new” and “ancient” threat that we are to face in Halo 4 is just ONI.
> I wouldn’t be surprised if the “new” and “ancient” threat that we are to face in Halo 4 is just ONI.
Heh, at least it would definitively be some pay back for all the damage they have done for everyone anyways.
Elites FTW!

Don’t even think that…
As for the elites, we’ll see what happens to them later. Afterall, I’m sure they are going to be back later… to some capacity…
Two words: Elite Ops.
> Elites FTW!
Of course, they always will be the top species. Still, I do not hate the spartans…I just hate their ignorance sometimes on not seeing the bigger picture of equality for both species in Multi-player.
Maybe if we are too late and 343 cant put playable elites in the game when it ships maybe they’ll make some dlc for them. I just hope they get how many people they are letting down.

Oh don’t tell me you have giving up faith on our campaign to bring the Sangheili into Mutli-player have you? I for one still haven’t given up on the dream of having that chance once more.

two words: Bull -Yoink-.
its not that i dont like Elites, if you havnt noticed im someone who has been posting on this since day 1. But there shouldnt be a Spartan Ops and then a seperate Elite Ops, they need to both be in and combined to make Flashback. Sure Elites are against Humanity in Halo 4, so they could make the this new Flashback mode (which is Spartan Ops but you could choose to be either an Elite or a Spartan with only appearnce differences) but during the events of like Halo 3. With skirmishes against the Covenant.
Thats what they should of done instead of “Spartan Ops”
Elites I dont mind them being in the Halo 4 multiplayer.

I have to admit, I have never seen read any wiser words from anyone els besides you to actually think up such a brilliant idea though. If that is possible, that would make Halo 4 much more enjoyable. Still, it is good to see you continuing your support none the less.
