I’ve now officially lost faith in the new series, especially seeing that they gave the Unggoy thread a -Yoink- response as well.
I feel a bit bad for feeling vindicated here.

While I understand your concern about it just being a tale of a massive hypocritical -Yoink!- waving contest there is something you said that I feel the need to address.
When humanity is being threatened with extinction from an overzealous group of religious nut jobs with no real motive other than “They are an affront (descendants) to our gods”, what do you expect? “Covenant -Yoink!- Yeaahhh!”? Of course we are cheering for humanity. However now that war is over, and judging from the recent books (which I have indeed read), ONI will have been continuing their notorious tradition of being utter -Yoink!-s and royally screwed something over by the time Chief wakes up.
Aye…now if only the Arbiter was in better position to handle the Sangheili crises going now…But even then, he is too much of a stubborn, but powerful leader to be killed off as easily from any kind of assassins or whatever kinds of attacks comes to him. Of course… that’s if Oni doesn’t try to set him up on being in death row as is…

He’s only saying that 343 have stated multiple times that elites are not going to be in Matchmaking.

It doesn’t matter what you or anyone els that declines this thread will say, we aren’t giving up on this thread of equality for both the Elites and the Spartans to fight and die together in Matchmaking. I care not for if the Spartans do hate elites, but with those that see the benefits for both races I do appreciate all the support. For those that continue to oppose, then why bother staying around here?
All I’ve seen is the gameinformer issue that says they won’t be in competative and a twitter post that says “that is correct.” I’m not taking this as real solid evidence and even if it is true we are still going to fight and tell 343 what we, the fans, the ones they are trying to please, the people they are trying to sell to, what we want. That would be playable elites in my case so I am going to keep posting until 343 directly says thay will never ever put playable elites in another halo game. Even if we are too late for H4 It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t fight for what we want in future halos.

Agreed. Though we may not get them in Halo 4 (and dear God I hope we do, at least in Customs and Forge), then we can still possibly get them into the next two games.

I am glad that you still continue to give support to the same cause. As long as this thread remains active and alive, then we shall not give up so easily to anyone trying to back us all down.
