Look at it this way: Say instead of removing Elites, and saying “Hey Elite fans, -Yoink- you” they were removing Spartans, and leaving Elites in, and saying “Hey Spartan fans, -Yoink- you”
Imagine the UPROAR, imagine how most of you would FEEL. You would come to the conclusion they ruined Halo and never want to play it again.
That is EXACTLY what they are doing to us, there just aren’t as many of us to make an uproar with.
Ouch…yeah, I can imagine that goin on now. But still if it were the Spartan case, I would be laughing big time though. Still, an Answer would have been given out by now since we have this many pages already…right?

True. Now, i must point something out. In halo 3 there were two sections, ranked and unranked. Those alone could have been considered competitve and uncompetitive as you didnt get a rating on the latter.
This is unlikely for Halo 4 however.
But looking at it, we could still have elites in cooperative, customs and forge.

I’d hate to see the arbiter armor desicrated with blue or red paint… or whatever horrible colour combos people come up with for that matter.

Good point, they would have to make it so you couldn’t make it something god-awful like pink or orange.
what if we area able to play as a new race. its already been said that master chief is facing a new threat, maybe we are going to be able to play as that threat instead of the elites =/

Your looking at the wrong thread then to be talking about playing as another race. This thread is still dedicated to be playing as the race that’s been around as long as the Spartans have. Now if you have an issue about elites, please, just keep it to yourself and don’t say anything at all. Thank you.

…Did you just make up that number? Cause last time I have done some real math around, it was about 27%, and that is still a lot of money to be missed.

Then don’t go to a thread devoted to Elites only to say you hate them. That is being rude to almost everyone on this thread and proves that you are Yoink!

Thats a rather inaccurate account because they actually have a very large fan base. Go to Halo 3 and look at all the elites you can find, more then 0.1%. Halo 3’s elite population is very well around 20% of it, and thats only people who play them! There are people who love Elites, but prefer the Spartan armor over Elite armor, that adds another 20%. And that estimated amount, it is most likely far greater then what you have predicted. So go away, and go do something else.
I’m quiet surprised how we are actually nearing about 3,000 postes though. Just a few more would do, and increase the number much more higher for the elite cause. Considering we need all the support we can get…
