Maybe…I mean, I suppose they are just trying to keep the thing a surprise until a little later on when the game is getting closer to release.

Yeah. They also only said that Elites won’t be in COMPETITIVE Matchmaking, so that gives me a little more hope.

The flood are not in Halo 4 also… and plus the only time I am certainly killing elites are in campaign. Now I don’t know what is going on for infection mode in the MM, but I surely hope it beats having to play it in Reach.
Flood are such annoying little parasite plants! X( I’m glad they won’t be in Halo 4!

Erm, I rather take a break from the flood than having to have my suite covered in guts once in awhile…

I don’t see how 343i can just ignore 146 pages and 400+ thanks in the OP alone. This thread has been going for months now, it kind of disappoints me that they don’t even say anything in here, let alone put Elites in -Yoink!- MP.

Already said this once, and I will say it again. No bots in Halo 4…at all…period. Besides, bots are too easy to kill anyways. Hell, why are we talking about bots anyways if they are not going to be around anyways? I rather kill Forerunner stuff like the monitors just like guilty spark with a laser.

Technically, 343i didn’t even say Elites were out of competitive matchmaking. Only GI did.
It’s still possible that they are fully playable as they were in Halo 3. Perhaps the animation or something wasn’t completed when GI got the game.

If bots are just available for custom games, then they would be a good thing.
People would go wild with them in forge.
Elites should return in halo 4 MP, they are a vital part of the halo MP experience. As for bots, that would be pointless as it would only be a challenge for noobs.
