I guess sometimes we all make mistakes once in awhile. But ah well…Elite Campaigns would still be more awesome.

but sadly…that part pacificly was confirmed not to…i know im sad too…but the point of this thread now is to get them into custom games and forge and maybe spartan ops

It’s because they continually bump it.

“Time are lookin grim these days, holding onto everything, its hard to draw the line.” - Korn: Get up
Basicly just continue on with that same believe that Elites will be in multi-player. No matter how hard it seems, or how much hate we are given, We still hold that line of believe in us.

Just reminded of Kirrahe’s Speech: “You all know the mission, and what is at stake.
I have come to trust each of you with my life – but I have also heard murmurs of discontent. I share your concerns.
We are trained for battle; we would be legends, but the blade silences that. Glory in battle is our way.
Think of our heroes; Thel 'Vadam, who ended the war. Or Fal 'Chavamee, who kept an army at bay with just a energy sword.
These giants do not seem to give us solace here, but they are not all that we are.
Before the Covenant, there was the Arbiter. Before the Prophets, there were warriors!
Our influence stopped the Humans, but before that we held the line!
Our influence stopped the Flood, but before that, we held the line!
Our influence will stop these haters; in the battle today, we will hold the line!”

Mass Effect 1. It’s still a good game none the less.

Captain Kirrahe’s speech on Virmire, it’s a good idea though isn’t? Using famous quotes from other games or history and using them to raise support for Elites in Multiplayer.
When I look at the comments of some spartan purists I can’t help but cringe. They keep suggesting that we should stand down and die, so are they suggesting that humanity should have done so during the covenant war because they were losing or because a superior force had decided they should be eradicated?
We are against a superior force that wants to remove us from their game, yet we do not stand down, we will stand and fight until the last moments.
Elites should be playable characters in invasion, elite slayer, infection (maybe), and customs. Do you guys really think 343 are gonna completely remove them as playable characters?
The only task that they would undertake to put them into multiplayer would be to consider how the elites can play a part in the infinity fiction.

Or it would be a lot more better if they removed the Boarder between the Elites and the Spartas (Like in Halo 2 and 3) and allow us to play whatever we want. Sounds a heck of alot more fun to do.

While I disagree about separating them into specific playlists, I understand you are entitled to your own opinion.
To be honest I don’t know anymore. shrugs
Canon reasons it’s possible for Sangheili to be on the UNSC Infinity:
-5 years have past since the events of Halo 3.
-They’ve traded representatives.
-The Sangheili and Humans have an alliance, though it isn’t entirely stable.
-Servants of the Abiding Truth (religious Sangheili sect)
-The Arbiter stands by the Humans
-The S-IV’s training arena is a simulation.
Off Topic: I want this as a side Campaign. It could actually be a good story for the dead Sangheili that we find throughout Halo 3: ODST. ;D
Erm…4 years, 10 months, 7 days to be exact.
But heh…ODSS does sounds quiet amusing to play really. Well, if it ever did exist XD

Yes. Yes I do.
I remember the Halo: Reach beta. Once we got the chance to play as Elites, I did as much as I could, as did a few of my friends. One of them, he and I created a thread on the Bungie.net Beta forum, and we babysat that thing, day and night. We debated constructively on how to balance Elites properly for full usage like in Halo 3, and even branched into beefing up Covenant weapons. I forget how long it was, but we made sure that, the moment they took down the Reach Beta forum, our thread would be on the front page, as near to the top as possible. Things looked good, as we were generally civil and constructive.
And Bungie did damn all about it. Hell, I remember constantly pestering Urk about Elite integration, even warranting an indirect mention in a Bungie weekly update, where I was basically told nothing new (Update in question, “This Armor Suits You” section).
So yeah, you’ll understand why we’re concerned, and why I’m not exactly hopeful.
Damn, sorry to read about what happend…I only pray that 343 will not make the same mistake twice if that were the case…
what is the elite equivilant of the infinity?
