Why don’t you resume trying to act like an mlg-wannabee like shown in most of your posts on this forum?
though elites have been playable in the last installments of the Halo franchise. Halo 4 Competitive play focuses on Spartans a decision I’m pleased with. elites did add a little something else to multiplayer, but I strongly believe it wasn’t balanced having Spartans mixed with elites in a swat, or team slayer match.

Theres a simple fix called adjusting the height and fixing the hit boxes. Plus in Swat, the elites are easy to kill just as easily as Spartans…by my standards that is
> I really can’t understand 343’s reasoning behind all of this, why is it that 343 alienates a part of its fanbase for no obvious reason apart from “Not wort the money”. Since when was a halo game made on the basis on restraining a player’s material to be creative? Reach was such an example, alot of options in custom games were lost and many gametypes were lost for (ugh) horrible gametypes (headhunters and speedflag? WTF?).
>
> It was pretty obvious from far away that halo is mainly a spartan game, but does that mean that to make your point you need to cutout other minorities? NO.
>
> Limiting a players options in a game compared to the previous one has always ended up with the game being less addictive: “Oh you really liked this computer? Heres a calculator!”.
>
> I’m sure h4 will be a great game, can’t you simply be honest and say: “we are not really out to please all fanbases, just the ones who are big enough to make money from”?
>
> Is it really that hard to simply tell your sangheili fanbase that they won’t be able to play before pressing the button to launch the nuke aimed directly at them? I won’t enter the debate of “should 343i employee’s post more on their own site” but honestly I though at least one of them could have had the guts to post here and clearly say it.
I imagine that they took playable elites out because elites aren’t fitting with the current idea that they have for multiplayer. Which is something that I strongly question, but I respect that a helluva lot more than a company that doesn’t have a single idea of their own.
At present I’m just glad that they’re choosing NOT to listen to the community on everything. Now they’ve just got to make sure that they know better than said community… which should mostly be easy, but you never know.

The hitboxes and height were almost identical in H3. Difference was that to make the elites the same height as spartans they had to put their head in line with their shoulders. Which makes them easier to hit from the front, and harder to hit in the head from behind. That applies to SWAT and every other gametype.

Thats awefully real mature of you man…reeeeeaaalllll mature 7_7;;

haha yah. it is pretty funny isnt it. Especially since pretty much everyone here that wants Elites back could beat you in a 1v1 kid.

No, you are for just making a statement to get people angry at you, thats called being a Yoink!. Seriously, come back when you have a reason.
im bringing this back…didnt they fix the hit boxes in halo CEA?
> im bringing this back…didnt they fix the hit boxes in halo CEA?
…what? Halo CEA’s multiplayer was Halo: Reach’s with a 3sk Pistol. There were no game modes that allowed elites, except custom games. and in those Elites had bigger hit boxes but were stronger, faster, etc. Just like in Reach.

Not to mention alot more scarier like the Gold Zealots you have to face and the nnoing (But Awesome) Spec-Ops units.
I’m sad to see the Sangheili go. I’ll miss putting fifteen bullets into their alien-looking squid heads!
I would like 343 to respond to Elite truly being in Halo 4 at E3

Sir you are a complete joke, i and most halo fans and halo community members would like Elites and Spartans working together like in halo 3 BUT elites like halo reach BUT can be customize as any spartans…

im talking about multiplayer. Not campaign. I have to agree, the Elitesin CEA campagin looked best, the color schemes just looked better with the armor then it did in Halo Reach.

Most? Now that is a joke.
I am sorry to those of you that make such a big deal out of this topic, but I am glad that elites are no longer playable in MM. I know, I am such a -Yoink-, right?
The only way I would like them back in MM is if Invasion returns, but ONLY then.
thanks for opinion…but please try to stay freindly here, and not so offensive… thank you
