It would be pretty cool if they were allowed to go wherever they wanted play at anytime like in Halo 3, but at least give us more customization options also.

No, too long will be when we get elites back. Once Halo4 ends, this thread is going to turn into a Halo 5 thread. and if thats denyed, a Halo 6, until we get those Elites equal rights just like Halo 3

Dont give up on halo 4. Becides reach and odst and 1, halo 2 and 3 had trailers and did not show elites at all in those trailers that i am aware of. There is still hope.

I really can’t understand 343’s reasoning behind all of this, why is it that 343 alienates a part of its fanbase for no obvious reason apart from “Not wort the money”. Since when was a halo game made on the basis on restraining a player’s material to be creative? Reach was such an example, alot of options in custom games were lost and many gametypes were lost for (ugh) horrible gametypes (headhunters and speedflag? WTF?).
It was pretty obvious from far away that halo is mainly a spartan game, but does that mean that to make your point you need to cutout other minorities? NO.
Limiting a players options in a game compared to the previous one has always ended up with the game being less addictive: “Oh you really liked this computer? Heres a calculator!”.
I’m sure h4 will be a great game, can’t you simply be honest and say: “we are not really out to please all fanbases, just the ones who are big enough to make money from”?
Is it really that hard to simply tell your sangheili fanbase that they won’t be able to play before pressing the button to launch the nuke aimed directly at them? I won’t enter the debate of “should 343i employee’s post more on their own site” but honestly I though at least one of them could have had the guts to post here and clearly say it.

Idk, I could do without them. Perhaps 343i will introduce a new character to fight against the spartans in mp.
I’m starting to think that you could give your characters in either Infinity or Spartan Ops voices like with Reach’s firefight. And one of those voices is an Elite.
I would miss the dinos, but I can understand if they weren’t in multiplayer. But I would like them to return in custom games and forge.
But if elites aren’t in multplayer, I wouldn’t be heart-broken.
