How about you quote the entire post and stop perverting the context? I was talking about how the elites were never respected and neglected and how it would be better for them not to be in than look dull compared to a flashy spartan.
so again, twisting my words up and not even fully quoting the post you are really stretching it out aren’t you?
Yes. You’re right. That’s exactly what happened detective Deva. Now please either do what Thal said, state your thoughts and leave, or just leave. Either one works.
I agree elites in muulti player and able to play them without pacific game mode.
We don’t care if elites look duller than Spartans. Most of us aren’t fans of that flashy spartan stuff anyway. We don’t care if people put us down, it only makes us stronger.

Lets just hear him out first. but after that he is going to have to leave.
Well you know… It was very early footage (As Frank O Conner said himself), so theres that.
There is tons that wasnt shown, and it took a while for Elites to be shown off for Reach, and they weren’t very central in MP anyway.
I also wouldnt really notice if Elites werent in matchmaking, they essentially are gone anyway.
I’m surprised you love them as much as you do, they are badass yes, but to disappoint you this much? Seems odd… To me…
That’s how much we care about this, Noodle. I’ve fostered this thread for about seven hours now. Because I love Halo, and I don’t want to see one of my favorite things about it disappear.
> I never had a problem with Glasslands
How to best sum it up for me… Ehh, this is actually quite tricky because I fill 14 sides of A4 about it. Basically, I felt it disregarded one of the themes of Halo 3, vastly underestimated the effects of the Great Schism, and re-wrote their actual views on Humanity. After reading it I didn’t feel any reason to actually care about them anymore.
> and Cole Protocol,
Not as bad as Glasslands, but I sensed something was up. Firstly, The Sangheili are a species, not a culture. Or at lest they should not be. Humans are a species of many cultures and beliefs; I don’t see why it would not be the same for the Sangheili. Their beliefs on never holstering a drawn weapon - you see, that is not even intrinsically linked to any ethical code, that is just flim-flam that makes them seem impractical. I also didn’t feel that Thel had enough of an impact left on him by the end. It felt sort of pointless in the end where Thel essentially just shrugged it all off. Oh and Zhar. Probably the second most interesting Sangheili character and he gets beheaded unceremoniously, by the person supposed to be his best friend. It made them seem fratricidal. And the thing about Doctors as well. I mean, how would they cure serious pandemics and stuff?
> but Halo Wars, oh my god, the scars will never be fully healed.
Ripa and his super-pro sword skills. Also, charging down a narrow gangway, with spears, with no cover, towards Spartans with guns = very bad. It is not that it only makes the Sangheili look stupid but I think it makes the Spartans victory a bit cheap as well. Obviously they would have won, but it should have been closer or something.
I hope they reverse some of the impressions that Glasslands left at least. That would give me a strong enough reason to care again.
Hm, it seems as if he just disappears when he’s faced with an ultimatum.
I think this seems appropriate…
"And there goes the battle!
This is one of my favorite quotes from the Nintendo 64 game Pokemon Stadium. (one and two)

Hmm… Well, I suppose ill just let you do your thing, there are some things im sure i would defend without question, but this isnt one of them. (I do love Elites though)
I have been an avid Sangheli player since '07 when I picked up Halo 3. And I overall did not mind Glassland’s, We must understand not all Sangheli like Human’s. Just like the majority of Human’s hate Sangheli (with rare exception’s such as Evan Phillips and Lord Hood) and the same exception’s exist amongst Sangheli (Thel’Vadam, N’tho 'Sraom, among others)
Both species have to learn tolerance for each-other. Because I doubt this new “Ancient Enemy” distinguishes.
I support the cause of getting the message to 343i stating that we want the Sangheili Elites in Halo 4 Multiplayer. It’s apparently clear that there are others who love the Elites as I do and see them as bad -Yoink!-. I also wish if they can, which is a VERY long way of it happening or not, have an Elite armory just like they did with the Spartans on Reach. Don’t have to be a whole lot of armor selections, just enough for us to get by & have ones that are worth the challenge of getting, if you know what I mean. I have been an Elite on Halo since Halo 2 & I will not defer to a Spartan anytime soon. By that, I mean have my Preferences stay on Elite.
In closing, let’s continue posting so that we can get the word out quickly as possible! The sooner they get the message, the happier us Elite fanatics we will be.
Oh, and my Elite name is Ntab 'Nivusee.
> We must understand not all Sangheli like Human’s.
It wasn’t a question of liking I would say, it was a matter of accepting that certain facts that they believed in were wrong. (They are casting away their own religion. That is pretty huge. In comparison, stereotypes should be eaier to discard, especially if they are inextricably linked.) Perhaps liking is the wrong word here, you cannot really like someone if you don’t know them. A more accurate description of their feelings could have been along the lines of sympathy and admiration, and respect.
Basically, if you were to explain to a non-Halo fan that the Sangheili murdered over 23 billion innocent people, how would you try to get them to care about their characters and make them view them as something more than just animals? Becuase, the way they are written just now, I don’t imagine that task would have very much success. Glasslands makes it seem like they all share the same opinion pretty much across the board. For instance, the Arbiter’s faction don’t like Humanity either, and would love to see them burn. Sangheili politics, like our own, will not be a single issue vote. They are following Thel due to his policy of rebuilding first, not necessarily becuase he represents their feelings towards Humanity. It was hard to care, basically.

Pacific?
I think you mean specific.
US Navy Servicemen approves of this message
Well I’m going to bed for tonight, I want to thank everyone for their continued support. Let our voices be heard.
i would much love for the 1 to 50 rating system to return to halo match making. that would be most epic

What does this have to do with elites?
