not unless according to canon, elites turn on humanity, or more likely IMO, humanity turns on Sangheili… -Yoink!- you ONI

Yeah that could be possible.
And of course Oni is omnipotent and can destroy everything by just prodding the now limited elites, because thats what they’ve been reduced to. Stupid, Dum animals. let 343 keep their -Yoink!- zoo. Those aren’t elites.

Agreed.

It’s without a shred of a doubt that I personally believe 343 will be considering an elite involvement game in the future… but for right now, its time to go back to the roots of UNSC and the Insurrection/Forerunner aspect…

Got to love Oni for screwing things over with the peace treaty that Lord Hood and Arbiter were forming…

The third novel is yet to come out, but we do know what will likely happen if the elites are enemies in Halo 4. Damn ONI i hope they get what they deserve
> I don’t mean to offend anyone, but removing Sangheili from Halo 4’s playable multiplayer would be identical to restricting users on forums from using avatars and signatures, or restricting furries from expressing themselves as their preferred personas. Did I just compare elite-fans furries? Yes, because to many people in the Sangheili community, playing as an Elite is more than just picking a set of armor, its a way of self-expression.
And this is why I strongly dislike the rest of the elite clans. That and the fact that very few of you can play halo well.
> Halo 4 is going to be a disaster for Sangheili clans. I will not touch that MM unless it results in the unlocking of elite armors that are able to be used in customs like Reach.
That’s silly. Stop being silly. You were a Halo fan before you were a super-kawaii sangheili. And don’t even try to say that you fell in love with the first blue armored, split-liped hunk of shark-alien that you saw on the Pillar of Autumn, because that would also be silly.
> It’s without a shred of a doubt that I personally believe 343 will be considering an elite involvement game in the future… but for right now, its time to go back to the roots of UNSC and the Insurrection/Forerunner aspect…
Truth.

Might not be ONI’s fault. It could be a smaller faction within the Sangheili… but then again, they are funding at least one dissident faction in 2553.
WHY ONI, WHY

Sucking at a game shouldn’t stop you from enjoying the game, my dad sucks at golf but he plays it because he likes it, having fun is the whole point of playing the game in my prespective.
By the way has anyone noticed we reached beyond 100 pages.?

I agree. I mainly take issue with clans that act like they could beat every pro at the same time when very few of them can get past a 2.0 k/d in a single game without a banshee or wraith.
Also yes, k/d does matter. A good k/d doesn’t mean that you’re good, but a bad k/d does mean that you’re bad.
And beyond all that, to call yourself a clan in the first place typically suggests a certain competitive nature. That nature is often found in the elite clans, but it seldom produces effective scoreboards.
But those are probably conversations for another day.

Well, the same can be said for most UNSC clans I encounter. Most of them do custom games and its not rare most of them have a k/d of 0.75.
Usually elites clan don’t have super skilled members because you join to play with others who like being elites and not to be the mlg pro’s.
Sangheili clans usually have k/d ranges of 1.10 to 2, but they win alot. Why? Because they have an advantage that isn’t related to k/d, they are organized. I see it all the time, they don’t blindly rush into an objective, they choose a diff path because they can’t be 100% 1.80/2 because of how small the elite community is, so they also rely on group strategy’s (not multi-teaming someone, but rather to effectively disperse the team to be able to accomplish different objectives and not be a mob of 8 going for the sniper) to gain the victory over people that would have normally destroyed them.
I see this alot and clans with good k/d’s usually learn the hard way that an organized team wins more over a very skilled team 80% of the time.

Any clan that calls themselves a “UNSC” or “Elite” clan is generally bad, in my experience. They focus more on making cute little forged castles to sit in than actually improving at the game.
But yes, many elite clans do well in the BTB playlist. Though to me, that shows the sorry state of clans/teams more than anything else. Teamwork is not something that the elite clans are good at, y’all just happen to be slightly better at it than the vast majority of the failures in BTB. The few teams that are actually good, curb stomp every single role playing clan.
Anyways, don’t take this the wrong way. I’m in an “elite” clan, and I like elites. I just happen to like being good at the game more, as does my clan/team.

Yeah during BTB matches vs other clans, they are usually very unorganized or use basic strategy’s from what I’ve seen (move on the map with no real purpose so they are easily ambushed since they go for the scenic route), but they are also VERY overconfident. And one of the reason I prefer sangheili clans over spartan clans is that sangheili clans can take a loss, spartan clan invoke EVERY exscuse in the book to justify a loss.
But sadly, most MAJOR UNSC clans think that keep warfare (hiding inside an OP base with snipers, rockets and falcons and spawnkilling other clans who join) is how you do a clan match.

On average, based on my personal experience, I have to admit that most UNSC clans I encounter are more skilled, organized(but only in the sense that they know where to spawn camp and where to horde power weapons), and usually more aggressive. Elite clans I’ve encountered usually play a different style. They may not be as individually skilled, but each member of the group has a function that they fulfill to outperform the other group. They also tend to have more people who just like to play for fun by their definition, and will goof around which makes the game more enjoyable, at least to me.
While this is in no way an absolute fact, this is merely just what I have seen from my personal encounters on matchmaking.

Personaly I never cared abut being good at the game or having a k/d for me. evan if I loose at a game there is still those moments that are worthy to being in a montage.
like in a griffball game where you send someone flying way out of the arena.
