> Something is clearly wrong with you, your Glasslands point was on two and isn’t my number two relevant to Glasslands? So why would i start with “1” if i was talking about your “2”? maybe you honestly need to increase your intelligence.
So you ignored my suggestion of going away. How unfortunate.
> The return is what 9 years later right? Did you honestly use ONI, the Government that has no watchdog and is the Cerberus of the haloverse as an example that the elites are harmful? ONI wants to destroy if not wipe out anything that contests humanity.
> How are you going to tell me to read Glasslands when it was clearly stated in that novel along with the Return that the elites are having trouble maintaining their ships and cannot replace them since they cannot build them.
Clearly Elites have sway in the galaxy if some of the Humans want to ally with them and some want to destroy them. They are controversial and could go either way. They are the issue. Which is what makes them so relevant for Halo 4. They could either be allies or enemies, we don’t know.
> Last time i checked halo is halo because the foreunners created them fight the flood. The last few years of a 27 year war are not central to that focus because if it was the forerunner novels wouldn’t be labeled halo.
It’s pretty obvious I am speaking about the game. Way to doge my post. You almost fooled me.
> you are honestly over playing your hand since i have been involved in Elite clans since halo 2.

They don’t even know how to grow potatoes by themselves. Not to mention the Forerunner trilogy is the backbone for the Games not The postwar (which tidbits are taken from like the SIVs). Glasslands happens during halo 3 in which halo 4 happens in 2556 with cortana being 7.

I used Glasslands as the most recent development of Sangheili in real time. If you want to go to the latest time canonically take a look at The Return. Also, if the sangheili were not a threat, ONI wouldn’t be hellbent on killing them.

> First of all, personal attacks are not aloud on this forum. Secondly, please, the more you comment, the more you help us refine our arguments. While you have stooped to the level of insulting intteligence of another person, we continue to grow and refine our arguments. You are ineveitably helping what you seek to rid of. So please, continue to comment. Because the more you comment, the more we have to say. And the more we have to say, the more 343 will lisson. Repeating the same argument will get you knowhere, and insulting intelligence just hurts your own. So please, i ask you to continue onward, because you are only boosting the likelihood of the elites return every single time you comment.
Like somebody is honestly going to cry about it over an internet forum though it is funny how you point it out when i do it. and it isn’t “Aloud”…
Um you aren’t refining anything if you are actually following this then you can clearly see me proving ever brought up point incorrect. You say “repeating the same thing gets you nowhere” yet you talk about refining your “arguments”.
no i am not. Insulting somebody else does not hurt me nor does anything i say increase or decrease the chance of them being in the game.
It is very hard to argue with someone that is so afraid to lose an argument that they will keep on restating the same things over and over with a new spin, I’ll admit. It is actually pretty tiring to debate with some one who insists on continuing after all of his valid points have been countered and is left with nothing but his bitterness and bias towards our community to throw at us. Look. you cannot beat us, so give up. I tire of your constant attacks founded in the shards of your shattered arguments, and so does everyone else here. does that mean I won’t debate with you until the sun comes up? No. We are here with a purpose, and we will not be stopped by you.

> So have I. Your point?
I don’t recall anything in Glasslands talking about the races forming an alliance. I recall a Cease Fire and a notion to ignore each other, nothing about an alliance.
I didn’t dodge your post since i commented directly on it. You can easily remove the elites and put them with something of the same ideals- that is what defines them not a character model. The Elites weren’t in ODST and that expansion was well praised. You living under that conviction is the reason you perceive it as that- which isn’t something i am trying to change since i cannot not. I am just saying if they aren’t in a game or trilogy it doesn’t mean they are dropped and that you shouldn’t be advocating for them to always be in.
> The Elites weren’t in ODST and that expansion was well praised.
Well, technically they were in ODST, the bodies. And ODST well praised? The soundtrack maybe, but that’s about it. Most diehard fans played it to obtain Recon Armor for Halo 3.
> if they aren’t in a game or trilogy it doesn’t mean they are dropped and that you shouldn’t be advocating for them to always be in.
There is a high chance they will be in the next game, we are just here to reinforce it. If you do not wish to help, as I stated earlier, please leave. Your nagging only gives us more recognition, as well as bumping my thread.
I must again emphasize that you are off topic, Deva. That does little to dissuade the addition of Elites to Halo 4. Do you hear that? It’s the sound of your mental Assault Rifle clicking, you’ve run out of ammunition.

You aren’t my main focus
when did i say i was afraid if “losing”?
I keep restating the same thing because that is my stance which is “Them not being in one game doesn’t mean the are dropped”. Did you just say how “I can’t stop you” and how you have “purpose”? that generally means you are going to stick to the same thing.
I am not “Attacking” anyone, i have been stating the same thing. you don’t like what you are hearing so you label me as the aggressor and attack.
How can i be bias towards a community that i am apart of? Actually you are the bias one if you aren’t willing to accept they might not be in the game and religiously banter about how they “need” to be in.
which brings us to the question. “what if i am right”? you say “you cannot be stopped” and that i am “Afraid”. So lets look at this.
I like elites and wouldn’t mind them being in if the story and logic adds up. So if i am wrong (Which i wouldn’t mind and don’t recall it ever being stated that i was afraid of being so) Then we all win and the elites are in, again something i would reasonably want.
But if i “the one how is afraid and flawed” is correct, doesn’t that mean i won and i “stopped” you? Maybe if you let go of the religious banter and reject the bias you might be able to see better.
I mostly grew up playing as an Elite in Halo 2 back then. Sure, I didnt had the internet at the time but it was still amazing to play as a new species for once. Now Halo 3, I had my taste of actually being on live, and being in so many Elite clans was actually pretty amazing…so many elites to hang around and kick some -Yoink- and such…glorious…
On reach however is a different story…like racism since we cant play as them as muc in matchmaking…let alone taking the ability to customize our figure was quiet troubling.Since then, I became an Elite lone wolf pretty much. Having those options in Halo 4 would pretty much be awesome to bring back…
It’s funny how your switching sides all the sudden. Your first few posts you stated how you loved humans over elites and that elites have no place in the future of Halo. Now that things aren’t going your way you want to change your side. Your posts get more and more ridiculous.

This is why i keep bringing up your intelligence.
I said in one post that i loved humans(Sarcasm) and the referred to how “If somebody doesn’t share your same opinion then they are a troll”.
I never changed sides, you were just so busy arguing you didn’t even understand what the hell i was talking about. So how about you go and re-read my posts then come back. Since it was constantly brought up how i was saying the same thing it shouldn’t have been hard to comprehend.
Are you in middle school? because regardless what answer you give i am going to see it as sad. because if you are honestly in high school or post college then wow…
And this is once again where you completely dodge the point. You claim that if you are right then we lose. You claim to be an elite fan yet you would be happy if elites were not in any future Halo games. You went out of your way to argue they have no place in Halo anymore. Please just leave. You’re just making a fool of yourself and trying to cover it up with petty insults.
> > Sources please, and the opinions of the community are not sources.
>
> It’s called logic. They’ve been here since Halo 2. They are playing a role in the future of the Halo story. The majority of the community wants them.
Didn’t i just say “the opinions of the community are not a source”? You haven’t been reading or comprehending a single thing i have been saying this entire time.
and they were “Logically” in MP because they were the main enemy and part of that current story ark.
I see no relevance with the elites in comparasion to Forerunners, Ancient humanity, Humanity, Precursors, and Flood.

Give me a link to where i said i was happy with the elites being out and also give me a link to where i said they wouldn’t be in any other halo games.
this is how i know you are just bantering because I never said i hated elites and i stated several times “them not being in one game or trilogy doesn’t mean they are dropped”.
How can you try putting words in my mouth when everybody can just read the post and see that you are making stuff up?
I would be disappointed if Elites were not in Halo 4. I’ve always played as one, even in Reach where the “Preferred Species” was a joke and Elites were just kind of shunted off to the side, except for a few kinds of Custom Games. I have rarely run into someone else who was an Elite, most likely because of the aforementioned restrictions. I realize that Elites had different abilities than Spartans in Reach, but since Bungie had already put loadouts in and messed up the balance anyway, why not?
Also, I’d like to see greater armor customization if they are in Halo 4. I’ll buy the game anyway, I’ll admit, but I’d do so with a much greater amount of caution if they left Elites out.
So yes, 343, grant our wish and bring back the Age of the Elite.
