Honestly I think the Sangheili (Elites) should have a significant role in the plot of Halo 5. I know that people like the Chief and all but I really do hope the UNSC ends up working with the main seperatist group (the Arbiter’s faction) and not the Storm Covenant. Here is how I envision (part of) Halo 5’s plot:
Jul 'Mdama and the rest of the Storm Covenant flee to Sangheilios (the Sangheili homeworld) with Dr. Halsey. The UNSC ends up working with Thel 'Vadam (the Arbiter) and his own faction in order to chase him down and get Halsey. (Not terribly complex but awesome nonetheless)
P.S. It would be awesome fighting on Sangheilios itself. Let me know what you think.
While I’m not opposed to visiting Sangheilios in Halo 5, I don’t want that to be the main focus of the story.
Also, I don’t think 'Mdama would be quick to flee to the strong point of most of his opponents. If anywhere, I’d expect 'Mdama to head for Hesduros, not Sangheilios.
I think it is a cool idea, especially if we get to play as the arbiter right at the beginning. I hope to see a few sanghelios multiplayer maps for that reason.

See what you did wrong here is say an Elite based side game. This Series shouldn’t have to make an Elite based side game. If Elites can be apart of the story in 2004 and 2007 easily without having to have 2 different games than i think ten years after making a Campaign with 2 different Characters shouldn’t be too hard to accomplish.

Yup. Hesduros is the closest thing we have to a capital world for the new Covenant. Considering how incredibly little we know about it.

But if it were Elites and only Elites then that can be the complete focus and they wont have to share the spotlight with Humans.
Sure we could have Chief or some other character visit Sangheilios but I think if we had a campaign dedicated to Sanghelios through the eyes of an actual local then we’ll be able to see it in a much better light.
Kilo 5 is a good example. The parts with Jul on Sangheilos were much more in depth then the parts with the ODSTs on Sangheilos. At least IMO.
