So in a video leading up to Halo 4’s release (I cant remember what it was called) we saw that Sandtrap from Halo 3 was in development for Halo 4 but then Valhalla took it’s place. Do you think it’s possible it might make a return in Guardians? Keeping in mind that small-scale arena is only a portion of Halo 5’s MM.

It’s possible, looks like sand is going to make a big return in Halo 5. Last Halo game to feature sand in its Campaign is Halo 3, and it also came in multiplayer. The posters and trailer seem to show sand a lot.
Just my theory, we must be bound to have some sort if sand map.

I know what video you’re thinking of, and I believe the Sandtrap we saw is only being used as a test map; it does have a lot of space, after all.
I would, however, love to see Sandtrap return.

Me too!
I loved sand trap in halo 3 and it it would be great to see it return. But it would most likely be the only good btb map because we all know 343 can’t make good btb maps.
That would be fun, but they have to bring back the Elephants.

Oh,and if it does return, the Legendary weapon has to be the AR that fires Mongeese that we saw in the joke video.
Hey who knows they brought back midship maybe there going to start a series of great rehashes, the sandtrap that could be in halo 5 could use mammoths instead of elephants.

Though, wether or not 343 does bring back the chopper, I hope they re-tweak the vehicle system to that of Halo’s 2&3 regardless.
I just couldnt imagine how the chopper would fair with Reach’s or 4’s system. Poor thing would probably blow up hitting a mongoose, let alone a warthog.
now that Warzone is out, don’t you think that we would get a sandtrap based Warzone map. If only I could post pictures, Iwould put up a blueprint of how the map works. As well as a picture of how the bases look and just a theme look of what’s going on.
