What other maps let you DRIVE THE BASE?!

I think it would be possible if mammoths would be 1,5x bigger than elephants. Sandtrap remake would be awesome <3
Imagine if mammoths were in forge, you could create a pirate ship style map…WITH -Yoinking!- MAMMOTHS.

They were working on a remake of Sandtrap for H4 prerelease, but it evidently didn’t make it. Same for Narrows. Honestly, I think a spiritual successor would be better than a remake in this case because I think it could use more verticality.
As awesome as the elephants are on Sandtrap, I just hate the map itself. It is so bland and open.
It was a BTB map in Halo 3. With Halo 5’s new movement abilities, a 1-1 remake would probably make it feel more like a mid-sized map. You would be able to get from one side of the map to the other in no time. The elephants would also probably feel really slow if they had the same speed as they did in Halo 3.
While it’s a fun map, I don’t think Halo 5’s mechanics would work well with Sandtrap, unless 343 gutted the map out and redesigned it completely.
