This is all subjective, not fact.
When I first saw this map, I thought it was very neat and well made. The textures are realistic and the creativity used is amazing.
But man, it is god awuful gameplay. The map is very bulky. If your team get’s pushed back to your armory…You’re all doomed.
Air vehicles will dominate your whole team, and snipers will leave you raging trapped inside your armory. Have you heard of hallways 343 Studios? Just simple hallways? Rhetorical question…not that you will answer it anyways. When in battle, this map’s corners seem to always stop me in my tracks when I try to retreat.
This is a small but very common issue. Next, the man cannon placement is absolutly ridiculous! It’s hillarious! Believe it or not, there is a man cannon that sends you straight onto the enemies armory! Not only that, there is a man cannon beside the fortress that can send a sneaking enemy player, right on top of the armory! Giving the ability to attack from above! This map isn’t only a problem for Warzone either. For Warzone Firefight, this map is a -Yoink!- challenge. I apprectiate that, but it’s a pain in the A** it is to kill 5 Knights that have 50 soldiers who have a hobby to teleport prance away from your bullets every 8-3 seconds.
A round that includes that, within a F****** armory is plain stupid. What’s even dumber, is surrounding them with even MORE knights. With incineration cannons that TRACK!

I think it is the best for war zone and firefight.
The map is just too open and blank, the only remarkable feature is the temple. Other than that, it’s just two garages and some hills.

You didn’t even read the post, you just read the title. And you just wanted to be against the claim here.
I like it. Then again I think all the warzone maps are very well done. Wonder why that type of diversity and creativity for maps isn’t in the arena. Yeah we have a few different maps but majority of them play the same game of cqc type stuff.

It’s a very nice looking map. That being said, I’m not really a fan of much else about it. I also agree with OP about the man cannon placement.
With this being one of the biggest updates, and Sanctum being one of the bigger Warzone maps, I would have much rather seen 4/5 bases, rather than 3. I think that would have made everyone have to move around a lot and really mix up the 3 base formula that is in every Warzone map.
Sanctum is amazing you may not like it but alot of us do

I despise noctus lol
I like it. Every Warzone map has a different feel that dictates the play style. The fact that there are many covered routes out of each garage means it is easy to break out before getting triple capped. True that air units can dominate but a Hydra or Spnkr can solve that issue.
Only complaint is where the legendary bosses spawn. Created a free for all with no room for proper tactics. Good for hammering incoming opponents though.

I too would like to see a map with 5 bases just for the extra movement it would create.
My only issues are the fact that while challenging temple the opposition will spawn almost directly in the temple making it ridiculous to capture and the fact that the legendary spawn above the temple. The would be alot better to spawn off tothe sides .

I like it. It’s just that some areas of the map seem relatively useless in normal Warzone.
I love the map. The only thing I would change is have man cannons that are far away and lead directly to the top part above the temple.

Back on topic, it seems like you are the one who “wanted to be against the claim” because almost everyone agrees that Sanctum is both beautiful and plays well.
