We are spartan 4’s in training. 343 is trying to bring some story into multiplayer. Elites simply don’t make sense. Don’t get me wrong. I like the variety of having elites, but i doubt we will see them.

How are they going to explain Grifball? All of the Action Sack gametypes? Infection?
In the end of the day, taking away something that is fun for a silly reason is just silly.
You’re basically in the Danger Room. You could fight -Yoink!- if you wanted to.

Multiplayer is still going to be canon, hence this whole situation with UNSC Infinity, Red vs Blue and all that.
As for Grifball & other Action Sack game modes, they are on a free time period (Spartan IVs), they can go in and simulate whatever for a bit of fun.

So your saying that it’s fun to play games like infection and griffball and ect, but its not Fun to try out seeing what its like to be as the enemy they might end up fighting against? Ok…
On the contrary, it would be easy for 343 to include Elites, with a sentence about better simulating enemy encounters by way of explanation.

To be fair, while having fun, they are still learning how to fight with enemy weapons, if they are Elites, they are learning little to nothing.
The Multiplayer canon is going to be confusing, it would be smarter to just wait until we learn more.
I really hope we can play as Elites in Customs and Forge.

Im just saying since not everyone knows how exactly Elites do fight like so they can only assume so by possibily using the stimulator. Hence why its called having Fun with it.

Just to say, Infinity simulates all known battlefields if I remember, it doesn’t simulate other enemies or to be another enemy.

Well the UNSC doesn’t consider the Elites as enemies anymore so that wouldn’t work.
