Saddest marine death

Which random marine death made you sad?

Mine would be in the first cutscenes of the first halo wars, the marine crawling for an assault rifle, but gets stabbed by an elite before he gets to it. Because how helpless the marine is and how desperate he is to get the weapon.

The saddest death was watching one get mowed down by a grunt.

Rest in piece Master Guns.

I know he’s not a marine, but the technician in the beginning of CE who is up in the control room while you’re going through the Mjolnir diagnostics was a rough one. Especially if you consider the additional info added by “The Flood” book where he dies looking at a picture of his fiance (it’s been a while since I read it, but I recall the guy looking at a picture of his significant other before dying).

Same, but I’d also choose Miranda Keyes. How sad is it that you get shot by a prophet… a PROPHET! He can’t even walk on his own, that’s just sad.

The poor marines in CE who discovered the Flood, all of them. Even Chief wasn’t ready for what he found.

If you ever get Chips Dubbo killed… that stuff is tragic

All of em. Salute to all the fallen marines… “In defense of Earth and her colonies.”

All of em. Salute to all the fallen marines… “In memory of those fallen in defense of Earth and her colonies.”

My dad flipped his warthog 2 times and the marine survives and he’s like how are u still alive and the headshots him

I totally agree with this one. I was hoping that the marine would get to the rifle, but I knew that he wouldn’t make it, but it still made me sad when he got stabbed

Every time a plasma grenade gets stuck on a marine.
