I am a simple Halo achievement hunter and have run into a wall. I have all challenges unlocked (90/90) but neither the “Extra Credit” or “A for Effort” achievement unlocked. My heart is broken and could use some help.

I’ve played all of them on separate devices. Still not unlocking.
Looking at your service record, you haven’t played it on Windows Phone yet.
So according to Waypoint, you haven’t played all of them. You’ve only played 3 versions.
That aside, as far as ‘a for effort’ and ‘extra credit’ go, they might be glitched, if you were playing this on multiple platforms.
I would suggest you complete all of operation f on windows 10, as it looks like from your record you only played the final level.
Unfortunately though, it might be truly glitched. I read a while ago that the only way to trigger the achievement on more than one platform is to complete a weekly challenge. This is because the game transfers the challenges from one version to the next, not letting you re-complete them, but for some reason does not trigger the achievement. The workaround was to complete a weekly challenge. But I don’t think those are running anymore. I’m sorry you might be out of luck.
I suggest trying to play all of operation f missions.
Or try playing the game offline on windows 10 - maybe it will allow you to re-complete a challenge?

I’m in a similar situation for Spartan Strike. Although I am at 88/90 objectives complete. I didn’t want to get to 90/90 yet until an answer about what to do comes though.
I’ve gotten a response by message from 343 that they will take a look at it - I’ll update you when I get a response.

I managed to get the achievement on both platforms with a method described in this link.
I understand this won’t work for you, and have asked the team I spoke with to try to investigate for people in your situation.

Hello, i am currently having this issue as well and would like to know if there is a way to resolve the issue. I am also a halo achievment hunter and am getting down to the last achievments to 100% all games across all devices and I can’t get these glitches achievments to work . They are a for effort, extra credit, silver tip and nowhere to hide. They are glitches on my windows 10 version and I have achievments for the 360 and one version. Some help would greatly be appreciated I have been a halo fan since they came out and it would really suck if I can’t 100% them because a bug in the game. Thanks again.

Man i just ran into this and i am so bummed. These are my last achievements in any Halo game (i even got all in H2Vista and Mcc) i picked up a cheap windows phone to clean up the Mobile versions and had already 100% SA & ST on other platforms now none of the challenge achievements pop in SAnand weeklys aren’t active anymore.
It’s especially sad because i doubt this will ever be fixed.
I wish they could just update it to work like Spartan Strike. I did the same thing for Spartan strike having done it all on pc already but i remember Spartan strike just leaves one random challenge for you to do then you have them all again and pop the achievement or it just pops when you start the level i forget which. Either way this isn’t broke in Strike but it is in Assault and now completing this will never be possible.
Like i said i doubt it’s even possible for 343 to fix this even if they wanted to. I doubt they have the tools the softpatch a almost 5 year old Windows phone game at this point.
In the rare chance that they ever do, that’ll make my year. 
THEY ARE POSSIBLE AFTER ALL
After days of searching i found a very random post with someone who found a trick to get them to pop! And it’s easy!
Turns out either on your PC or WP all you have to do is change the system date to sometime before the weekly challenges went offline which was sometime in 2016 i believe. Me personally i changed the date to one of the weeks in November 2013 a couple months after SA came out and the weekly challenges appeared! After that all i did was complete a weekly challenge. (Mine was to destroy 100 shade turrets. I just kept playing F-1 with rocket launcher and overshield you can easily destroy the 4 shade turrets on that mission in about 30 seconds then just restart and repeat) Before i knew it bam! The weekly completed and both A for Effort and Extra Credit achievements poped.
I did this on a Windows phone and i did have to restart the phone after changing the time or the games would error when starting. After all these years it turns out there is a way to get these, who would’ve guessed the weekly challenges aren’t server side just dependent on date. I got all my achievements across all games now i am happy.
