S.O ended kinda badly...Sadly.

Im not talking story. It brings big hints to things that could happen in Season 2 or Halo 5. So this isn’t about story. It’s gameplay.

Sadly to say it Season 1 had some better gameplay moments. Bigger levels. More vehicle parts.

I mean how many times do we get the mantis in Season 2? Maybe twice. With only ONE Spartan being able to use it.

Season 1 gave us 4 mantisis. Multiple tank runs. Warthog runs and so on

I’m glad 343 took the time to make new maps for Season 2 but why couldn’t they create bigger levels? Everything was “Cave, Cave, Look another cave”

Plus as pretty as the maps were they were too linear. Bottled up. Warthog runs were ok but seemed linear even.

The last levels (this chapter) were nothing but backtracking 2.0. Poor vehicle parts. And the same shooting we’ve done again and again

I’m sorry but as much as I like shooting my BR and DMR 1000 times. SO coulda been a perfect 10/10 if

1-They had more vehicle parts
2-More levels. It repeats the same mistakes as Season 1
3-Bigger levels
4-Where’s “Shootout in Valhalla” tier level
5-Not using MP levels.

Anyone else kinda bummed on how small SO 2 really is. Again
1-Little tank action
2-No big open levels like the first level in Season 1
3-No more then a few Mantisis which players need to fight over

There is no season 2 yet…

i don’t want halsey to be the bad guy

How do you know how many manti will be in season 2. It hasn’t even been announced yet.

I think he’s confused Season One, Part Two with Season Two.

Personally, I don’t see how this isn’t any more repetitive than playing the same few FF maps in Reach repeatedly. I like what they did w/SpartanOps. It is repetitive but it’s also more enjoyable than FF ever was. What it needs are mode variants, like Pro with limited lives.
