So, my question is: don’t you like to avoid lag and play only with people of your country ?, people who have the same connection ?, Halo’s multiplayer is one of the greater, but it have a negative point, YOU can’t choose a server to play =/.
This is the worst thing in Halo, we play with mexicans, with americans, with europeans, brazilians,…anyway, with a lot of people who have different skills and connections, when we play with our own ‘‘kind’’, you can see the diference.
My idea is, why 343i don’t create servers ? Servers for every country that you can select and switch between, They can create various servers, and create a central server that everyone can play together.
I’m certain that everyone will love this idea, Lag will reduce so much…I can’t even say how good this will be.

Lots of people agree with you, hence the length of this thread.
Will they do technically have their own servers but I get your point. I’m with you but against you at the same time. With you for obvious reasons less lag etc but against you because i feel that’s something halo had over other games, the unity of the community (not so much on halo 5 though sadly) if we split ourselves like that that unity will all be gone

I haven’t really noticed all that much lag and 343 have already implemented the Focused Balanced Expanded search options, so it doesn’t really seem all that necessary to me.

Don’t let those search preferences fool you. That system was broke when it was launched. They tied connection and rank together. Who knows what crazy formula they are using under those search preferences…
Im a US player and ive said this a hundred times… This game should have server selection. There is no real sense of having a game like this on dedicated servers if we cant pick the server we want to play on. The server with the best ping or the server closest to you. That is one of the reasons dedicated servers are used. So one can target the one with the best connection to play on. At least have this function on competitive play. Right now all we have is floating servers. One game you may connect to a server close to you and the next game you could be hundreds if not thousands of miles away. Its crazy to me that this wasn’t even in the game as a option! There is no way 343i doesn’t realize this…

I’m using this in relation to other games with different servers I almost never see in cod or battlefield or etc a UK and US player playing together unless they are in a big gaming group or etc. But in halo it’s almost common
