I’m not sure if this has already been suggested, but would you like a RvB announcer pack sometime next year?
I understand that it may be difficult for 343 to do, but I think it would be a “very” welcome addition for most people.
Perrsonally, I’d like to have Grif, Sarge, and Caboose as the 3 announcers.
What are your thoughts?

The only problem I see with this is the fact they already have teams assigned to them… so their announcements would be a little weird… especially if you were on Blue Team and Sarge was your announcer.

Silly but legit question: are the RvB characters “canon”?
If so could there be a “canonical” explanation for having the announcers?

I think it’s non-canon. I could probably figure out an explanation to try to work it into canon, though. RvB in it’s own universe is basically a TV show, if the PSAs are meant to be taken seriously.

Would the team colours of the announcers be a huge issue?

Probably only for Sarge, because he seems to be the only one who was actually serious about the teams. Everyone else doesn’t seem to care about teams anymore.

Tell that to the Grunt, it’s all just for fun and cosmetics. Doesn’t have to make sense.
Now, what I’d really like instead is Sgt. Johnson as an announcer, that’d be awesome!

A lot of the voice lines could be the same for both teams, with only a handful for each character being team specific. Definitely possible.

True, but it would bother me (and probably only me) because it might feel a little out of character for some of them.

Yeah.
I was thinking that each character would say the medals/announcements in their own words, same as the VOW characters do.

They wouldn’t have to hire all of them, just three.
Such as the actors for Grif Sarge and Caboose.
Tucker and Sheila would also be good additions. Also O’Malley/Omega.
I’ll admit, if they did an RvB announcer pack, I’d actually probably get it; mostly because how much I love Rooster Teeth, not necessarily because I want to give 343i my money. Though I know the money wouldn’t go to RT. Ugh, why do you have to suggest such a good idea for a microtransaction?!
