what if we a rvb line up of guns and weapon skins as a req. like every time you get a kill with the gun you have a chance for the owner of that gun (say sarge and his shotgun) say an Iconic line, and each gun is red or blue containing some of their famous quotes, but in caboose’s case it could be a normal gun with freckles written in blue on the side.
Wouldn’t mind a Sarge-themed shotgun skin (maybe a whole new REQ card, does extra damage from the shotgun seat of a Mongoose or Warthog).
Caboose’s rifle would, of course, make confetii noises every time it fired.

Those things just enhance immersion.
You mean to tell me that literally every member of the UNSC is a super-serious, no-jokes kind of person? When REAL LIFE MILITARIES go so far as to paint shark patterns and such on their stuff?

I feel like they missed an opportunity with Spartan Chatter. Reach had the firefight voices, and recently I have been thinking that it would have been great to have that for your Spartan’s war game voice. Even going so far as to have RVB voices.

Eh, not really. I’m not a military man yet, but I’m pretty sure you are not allowed to put “non-regulatory” doodads on your equipment, such as shark patterns or other similar “extravagant” stuff. It’s kind of why the military frowns on skull masks. They are unnecessary, and kind of unprofessional.

For that part, just gotta give some suspension of disbelief. Perhaps, in post-war times, the UNSC is lax in terms of customization; especially considering Spartans can already customize their armor.
I can do either or. While it would be nice to have weapons based on the RvB crew, it wouldn’t exactly be needed, so the choice is ultimately up to 343i.

I believe that they can customize their armor but only if the mission requires it. So you can’t just willy-nilly slap some Mk. VI and CQB together just because you want to. You have to do that which everybody hates… fill out requisition forms. shudders
