I’m not on here much so I dont know how much It’s discussed, but the last 5 matches or so have basically just been rush matches. I only play Team War, ussually you have time to build up stuff and have some good fights, lately people just build like 10 marines and send them at u and if some one on your team doesnt have defenses up well you lose one friendly right off the bat
This is the case of basically all RTS games - since the 3v1 advantage is so strong.
In my experience you need to be aggressive
I love when they rush me with marines and just 5 snipers kill them all… hahahaha For vehicule I build cyclops
It happens maybe like 70% of the time when I play so I have come up with a good counter to their rushes depending what they want to rush me with. Marines get snipers. Vehicles get cyclops. It doesn’t take that many counter units to get rid of a rush. Just have to be smart about where you place them. Once you stop their rush the game is yours pretty much.
You need to put quick pressure on your opponents to throw them off their game, and that’s what people are doing to you and your team mates. Rushes and constant harassment keep you from doing what you want to do.
You need to have troops of your own or scout your enemies to see what they are doing/intend to do. You can’t sit back and expect your opponents to let you follow your own set plan unopposed. This goes for you and your teammates.
Once the match starts, it’s game on. You need to be ready for whatever is thrown at you. Unless specially arranged beforehand, there is no honor-code about not attacking until you are ready as this largely counteracts the element of real-time strategy.

well said
rushes are good in all RTS, however in this game there is not really a downside in rushing, it is far too easy execute and you can build up really quickly even if it fails.
Anders and forge in team war, are important rush him, becouse sentinels and jackrabits. If you give 5 minutes to Anders end of game, nothing stop sentinels, forge need 3 minute.

Until the patch hits, and sentinels get nerfed.
