is it just me or is anyone else having extra trouble combating sprinters that have either a sword or a shotty?

Rushers are annoying, you just have to spot out who is going to rush and make sure you keep your distance from them. If your in their kill zone there really isn’t much to do unless you want to spam armor lock, and no one like that.
Agreed. I play with quite a lot of confidence, but seeing an an idiot sword-sprint at you down a corridor makes my undies very messy…
