EDIT: I recently finished the Running the Show Achievement thanks to everyone in this thread! I truly appreciate all of the amazing advice I received from everybody! To be honest, “Amazing” is an understatement. You guys have showed me what a great community halo wars has! I would of never expected such great kindness and welcoming from everybody! Thanks again to everybody in this thread for the help…you guys are awesome!

What do you mean, by “Get the achievement with”? Boosting won’t make you better, neither will getting to it legit, but if you can’t get it legit then maybe the easiest RTS in the world isn’t for you =(

Why do all boosters make the same excuses or say the same thing? “I don’t care about rts games. I actually have a life. I have a girlfriend. I hate Halo Wars.” Their comments always fit into these categories. If you don’t like it, it isn’t worth your time anyway.

My best friend pretty much said the same thing when he started playing halo wars, and now its probably one of his favorite games he owns and we both play all the time. And He only started playing online just to get running the show.
but KrooshuL, they are deff right. It will take 6 months or more. If you dont even like Halo Wars i suggest you not even waste your time, if you can’t manage a decent TrueSkill then you’ll only walk out of game with a couple hundred pts at a time and youll be playing for years. You ought to start by playing skirmish with AI and friends and then move into 3v3 unassigned.

I just stick around these forums because I love Halo Wars, and I want to show my support for a Halo Wars 2. The only time you see me make comments like this are in threads like this. If you see me post in other threads, you will see that I am like every other person here.

I’m still working on this with a friend. It is a complete grind that either 1) no one will do because it’s a waste of time or 2) just boost to get to have completed halo wars.
What is the point of adding an achievement to force players to boost to complete a poorly implemented achievement. The exp of General was lowered to 960k from what 2.4million because of the complaints and ridiculousness of this achieve.
I’m sorry but this achievement being made on top of no bonus for wins, a split exp total if both players do exceptionally well (why?!) and bad mechanics ruined this game.
Myself and friends have no hopes and honestly do not care at all for a release of Halo Wars 2 (believe that has been confirmed). Why should we really? 343 should step in further on this. Even waypoint basically ignores the fact its even a halo achievement.
And to explain the split total. If you have a game where you score 4000 exp (the cap - again why?!) and your opponent manages 100’s - very poor you can cash in a 30 some thousand exp match. But if you score 4000 and your opponent scores 4000, you both cap but the game let’s say is long and very involved. You walk away with a pathetic 10,000. You’re actually punishing players for playing longer fair matches and pushing people to just boost.
A great achievement that is skill testing? Endure from ODST! Which myself and friends all have. This is not an achievement, rather a way to make you grind their attempt at a RTS game.
Guys chill. He never said boosting he could have meant playing with a second person in 2v2 or something. Don’t assume and please don’t let this go way out of hand.

Because I read response comments to the OP and responded to them. And great? You want a prize or something?
And like Halo Reach forum is so far from the Halo Wars forum? Really? It’s right there. And I never said I don’t like the game, The campaign was fun and somewhat interesting, the multiplayer is awful, that was my point. And the achievement does not make it any better.
Never once posted to bring rpgstyle into this. I was directing it at the people attacking the OP.
