Running Riot is 100% impossible. Only cheaters get that

I don’t personally believe 33.3% W/L and .8 kd from controller play are superior numbers to 51% W/L and 1.05 kd I earned in crossplay with m&kb. Especially factoring in that those 33% wins and negative overall kd are playing against golds and plats while the numbers more indicative of success were against diamonds and onyx players.

If I invested the time I could probably place higher with a controller, sure, just like every other person in the game. But in my current state I am not playing better with controller, and in my preference and comfort with m&kb it likely won’t change. I don’t see any reason for me addressing what I perceive to be a tremendous disadvantage to m&kb to be contentious.

Also, you’re saying “PC” users interchangably with mouse and keyboard users. Almost everybody playing does so with controller regardless of platform. Considering mouse and keyboard is supported on console for this game it may be ideal to tighten up that differentiation. Platform of choice does not represent preferred input device.

I think we have a different view on the term fairly, because a match where you have a almost guaranteerd win is definitely not fair in my books, but heavily skewed…

edit: on the desync issue: sure, that plays a role, but also for the rest. Who is to tell that those matches that were close weren’t just because others had desync issues? It’s not like desync issues are only limited to you or matches that are not close.

Why would someone buy an Xbox series X and play Halo with a M&k? Hey do you think I’m calling them PC players? Console players are more accustomed to controller. I’m not about to change my terminology for the 0.05% of players on console using a M&K. That’s stupid.

You also literally just said that you’re able to aim better with a controller. So either you were trying to bait a response or you were lying. Either way, you can’t have better “tracking” and also have a lower accuracy rating. All the weapons, aside from snipers, benefit from tracking.

I’ve been playing halo my whole life. I’d rather forsake the idiots who want M&K to dominate controller rather than decrease the standard aim assist. You people literally beg for controllers to be made useless so that you can feel better about winning against a controller. My winrate and KD is much higher than yours because I’ve been playing halo for decades, not because of the aim assist.

I never said they were limited to my bad games. The games were way closer than they usually are and the ones I lost were much worse with desync, on my part. I say, on my part, because I’m usually the one carrying my team and if I can’t carry, we lose. It’s simple as that.

When I say fairly matched, I mean matched against players with equal playtime and investment into the game. When I play against people with thousands of matches, that’s not fair. I should be competing against my weight group. SBMM should assume my skill based on how hard I dominate people within my play-time group. That’s for ranked. I don’t play ranked. Regardless of how hard I dominated the ranking system in just ten games.

Well relative to the PC hardware market right now, PS5 and XBSX are comparatively way better values for gaming. To think somebody isn’t using that to play games with m&kb seems ignorant. These $500 consoles will get you better performance than any build with a gpu at that price alone. And you’re going to pretend that the majority of PC players use controller or just ignore that side of it entirely? lol.

No, I don’t aim better with a controller. My shot accuracy is higher because of how strong the magnetism is; even though my reticle is off the target it still connects. It doesn’t happen with mouse. That’s the whole point.

that’s lovely you’ve played halo for decades bud, but all that means to me is you’ve never used a mouse. I was a console gamer for like 20 years running with pc gaming sprinkled in, and in the last few years i’ve played games almost exclusively m&kb.
I’m not sure why you’re trying to tell me how I’m wrong when I’ve been on both sides of a fence that you have not. I have the perspective and history to use both and feel comfortable making an observation. Also, inb4 you magically recall 5000 hours experience in shooters with m&kb to draw upon.

That’s a cool winrate and kd man, good for you. But I don’t think comparing a k/d and win rate for somebody barely squeaking into Diamond is really measurable to somebody who was playing at Onyx for the entirety of Season 1.

I encourage you to plug in a mouse and keyboard and try it out for yourself. I’d rather have this discussion with somebody who has spent time with/experienced both input options.

Well its not every game i did get the map mixed up it was deadlock not launch site you know like spanker spawn right by the bridge in the cave

And its not insane to get over 20-30 if you have a good game

And this is BTB iv seen a bunch of your comments right when i got on waypoint you assume alot of things

I get Running Riot in LSS at the first day of S2.
Xbox player by the way.

Are you trying to say BTB doesn’t have skill based matchmaking? Because if you are, you’re wrong.

BTB barely has SBMM, not just for individual players (skill gaps are enormous), but also in between teams. Just watched my friend play a BTB match, where 10 of the 12 of the enemy team went positive (mostly 8+ with the best one even an kda of 27) and on his team 10 of the 12 severely negative (my friend was one of those 2 and only went with an kda of 0).

Ofcourse BTB can have looser SBMM then 4v4, but this is way to loose. Even though my friend likes BTB, he stopped searching for it now, since he doesn’t want to face that again. He’s now playing a fiesta match before we are gonna get something to eat.

These roblox kids still got guts to come throw tantrums in the forums smh.

hell all you have to do is jump in a tank and have your team tag enemies for you to mow down. most of the time we grab a scorpion in launch site fiesta i pull one of these

You don’t work at 343 so you really have no standing to assume that BTB has looser, none, or different SBMM than the rest of the game.

That is realy the worst argumentation i have ever seen…

Like you can’t notice patterns by playing the game a lot…

You say SBMM is loose in BTB yet you say you see patterns? How is that possible? The only patterns I see are that there’s a handful of terrible players, a few mediocre players, and 1-3 people that carry the match for the bad players on each team. That’s EVERY game. How is that loose SBMM?

The very big skill gaps between players is already sign of a loose SBMM.
And not every macth is close, in fact, a lot of matches are one-sided. I have even had a BTB match of total control that ended in just over 2 minutes…

That is definitely not the easiest way. Fiesta means the opponent can spawn with rockets, sniper, javelin, or a hydra, which all are good for taking out the Scorpion. At least for me, the most consistent way is piloting a Wasp in big team battle and staying close to walls to hide and keeping an eye out for players picking up power weapons or other enemy Wasp.

I play with Keyboard and Mouse and still i’m terrible at the game. I don’t think that has anything to do with it.

Dude, I got a Running Riot while I’m in a Wraith last night, sounds like a Skill issue on your part

Also nice edit

Not really but whatever helps you get some of that copium
