Rumours of campaign logic puzzles?

Heard the community is presuming the inclusion of logic puzzles based on a job listing.

Just speculating - I wonder how they’d be implemented? More like Half Life games where you had to navigate environmental puzzles to progress, or will logic puzzles be used mainly in side content?

I’m not against the idea, in theory, general thoughts?

If logic puzzles were to be included, I would want them to be part of side quests. The Tomb Raider games did a wonderful job with this. Some of the side quests took place in a tiny area, but you spent a lot of time there figuring out how to solve the puzzle. Interesting rumor though. I think puzzles would fit well. There could be stuff like, “Only the true Reclaimer will know how to acquire the Scarab Gun,” complete with moving Forerunner structures.

Would be nice but doesn’t really belong in Halo unless its a part of cutscene.

I wouldn’t be opposed to rack my brains over something different than how to pew an enemy faster than they can pew me within the Halo Universe.

That said, I’d also appreciate the closest analogue we’d get of a jump sequence in Infinite. I personally was quite fond of the jump maps the community would make in previous instalments, and with the new movement mechanics in Infinite I’m sure they could pull off something interesting in this area. Jump/Traversal puzzle anyone?

If done correctly, I wouldn’t mind logic puzzles as a break from all the FPS fighting.
