Rumours HW2 and Halo 5

idk where this belongs exactly… I’m going to post this here for now…

So Halo 5 (never played it yet)

connects to Halo Wars 2?

one is a shooter

the other is an RTS…

than are we getting a RTSFPS crossover? I’m looking at gameplay from Halo 3 (haven’t played it yet) and the AI Bots look to have very patterned basic behaviours coded in… so maybe? They seem to have the potential of being given basic commands like you would an RTS… maybe… idk I’m trying to wrap my head around Halo Wars 2 and Halo 5 connected/ is that lore related?

A mix of genres would probably have mixed reaction, but a game like that would be really intresting as a spin off!

The campaigns connect, that’s why. HW2 starts off shortly after H5, and the guardian that shows up at the end of the campaign for HW2 is assumed to be the one that Cortana is on/exuberant sucked into slipspace at the end of H5
