Before I get your hopes up it’s just a 1% that this confirms anything but:
Somebody tweeted “PVE mode thread the demand is there check it out.”
Bonnie Ross (Studio head 343i) Replied with “Firefight is my favorite too”
Well obviously this doensn’t confirm anything. But I’m pretty sure that if the “Studio Head” of 343i loves Firefight there is a decent chance that it’s going to be made.
Also they said that if there was enough noise from the Community that they would make (or atleast try) a PVE mode, well there has been a lot of noise about Firefight.
Besides they can’t be that cruel to post something like that, get everybody’s hopes up and then not make it… can they?!?

They made MCC…got everyones hopes up then crushed them and took everyone’s money. Microsoft and bungie have millions/billions of dollars to throw at it to fix it and it took them a better part of a year to get it there. So tease people about something nice and then not make it…No thats not 343…lol

I bought the MCC in January (didn’t had Xbox one yet)
I had a great time playing it spend about 400hours on it, well I must admit that in Multiplayer it took a long time to find a match, I still had a lot of fun with it (especially Campaign)
If they just wanted to make money of it they would’ve remasterd Halo 2 and it’s multiplayer (wouldn’t have build another forge) and sold it for 60$ like most game companies do.
If it was EA you would already be paying for DLC right now.
You already have PVE, it’s called Warzone.

Not really. Just cause somebody likes something doesn’t mean they are going to rush to make it.

It was their replacement for Firefight so I doubt you will ever get it back. Either way both gametypes are meh at best. Warzone Assault can be pretty fun sometimes though.

Yea I was worried about that too, that I would start the rumor. But can’t a man have Dreams 
There are so many things this game could use and a good Firefight mode is something that could give Halo the attention it deserves

That would be equivalent to making firefight but making it not work. They didn’t do it on purpose.

flood! I want a flood firefight mode. For the love of halo give us a flood firefight mode. People love zombies, If only Bungie thought to do this with halo 3 I don’t think -Yoink!- zombies in cod would have been as popular.

The problem with MCC is code from 4 games that were released on two different consoles from two different companies interacting, not that they didn’t care. Also, campaign worked just fine which was all I cared about.
If she likes it, why didn’t she put it in the freaking game at the start?
As much as I hate to think like this, it would be a bad idea to just tease. At this point it’s just better for them to go ahead and say it would be there.
I’m all for getting Firefight in Halo 5, even the idea of REQ’s in it. But I don’t have my hopes up for it. I’ll just wait for them to announce what they WILL do and play something other than Halo for the time being. It’s kinda stupid that people dedicate so much time into it that they get so excited when some “Head of Gaming” says they like Firefight.
You want Firefight. Go play Halo 3 O.D.S.T’s Firefight cause that was the last good one. That’s what I do.

And it’s not like just someone Tweeted “I like Firefight” and I’m like oh We’re gonna have Firefight
If the studio head likes this games mode the best out of all of them… Then I’m pretty sure there is an chance for it to happen.
