In the middle of getting Halo 4 out the door, polishing it, and getting ready for the game parties/post launch support? Doubtful this is completely legit.
Besides, this doesn’t have anything to do with Halo 4. It doesn’t belong here 
343 Industries already stated that all of their time for the long-term forseeable future is devoted to Halo 4, Halo 5, and Halo 6.
So unfortunately, Halo 2 Anniversary has a very poor chance of being made. If it is at some point, it’ll be after Halo 6’s release. And judging by how much time they put into Halo 4 so far, I’m guessing that Halo 6 will come out around 2015-2016.

I understand that questioning, but it’ll probably have a Halo 2 multiplayer pack with it for Halo 4’s multi later next year to pump it up if it starts to pull a reach. (it wont though, so…)

I wouldn’t say kid, necessarily, but I like the idea of it happening. 343i saw what we didn’t like with anniversary on the first go around, so they could take what they learned and blow up what worked. I think they could do a much better job this go around. And I wouldn’t say it is confirmed, it’s in the rumormill. You are right, though, I’m definitely getting my hopes up over nothing.

Me too. I think they got it almost perfect with Halo 2. Take out the button glitches and tone down the noob combo and it is perfect to me. If they remade Halo 2 with today’s network coding, banhammer and graphics I would not play any other game.

It still pertains more to Halo 2 than 4, so it would’ve been better off there.
It should be MM only, since CE got campaign only…
i hope this happens seeing as i dont have halo 2 anymore plus better graphics and cheevos who doesnt want that?
