Rumble Pit: Slayer Weighting

I’d brought this up on the Optimatch forums a while back, and thought it would be good to bring it up on the 343i forums now that this is where we’ll all be heading anyway. What I wanted to address, is that the current weighting of Slayer and Slayer Pro in the Rumble Pit playlist seems a bit… well, high. I used to see games like Oddball, KoTH, and Juggernaut pop up every once in a while (if I was lucky), and even though they got outvoted they at least showed up. Nowadays I don’t see anything in Rumble Pit that isn’t Slayer or Slayer Pro.

I was wondering what everybody thinks about at least having the options for those less-serious gametypes available for vote (granted, if Slayer keeps popping up it has to mean that the playlist population wants to play it). Whether or not the gametypes are liked and need changes is another topic, this one is strictly on whether or not you think the Slayer weighting in Rumble Pit is too high or not. I mean, I’m all for Slayer, and it’s fun, but I don’t want to have to go into a playlist like Action Sack to take a break from the traditional; whatever happened to just standard King of the Hill, Oddball, and Juggernaut? Heck, even FFA Headhunter could at least make an appearance.
