Lately I have seen people and myself rubber-banding ALOT.
This wouldn’t be so bad…if it weren’t for the fact that:
A) Halo 5 is on dedicated servers…
B) You can’t ground-pound, Spartan charge, throw good grenades, get headshots and play the game…
People warp…so they’ll be walking one way, Ill throw a nade…then they appear a few feet away…the other side.
I can’t play like this, please help.
Side note - I noticed on Basin…how OP the active camo is.
It makes you completely invis even when walking…why?..it’s just too OP.
halo 3 u were completely invis while walking…
I have honestly never seen rubber banding at all and have not seen any lag. Not to sound like a jerk but it does sound like something possibly on your end. Where are you located? What is your download and upload speed?
Camo on the other hand can be tough for sure. You really have to watch your back and communicate a camo person. Not sure if a person in camo shows up on the map or not. If not then yes that should be addressed. Someone killed me last night in camo from behind at our base and I really did not see it coming. And I watch the radar all the time. Maybe if they are crouched they don’t show up on the radar while in camo?

Wow impressive speed especially for the UK. So we can count that out as the problem. I am sure you have tried a hard reset of your X1? Reset router? I know some other UK members are also having issues so hopefully it is something they can resolve soon if it is well know. I would make sure to report it in the Support forum too.
If your X1 is set to “Instant on” I would set it to “energy save” and restart your X1. That forces a hard restart. I leave my X1 set to energy save.

About to Reset router after a still rubber bandy (but no as much) warzone game.

Crouching with camo makes you invisible on radar. You are completely hidden, but your speed is hindered

Rubber banding is how games compensate for minor connection interruptions. It predicts where you will be and then corrects itself when connection is reestablished, causing players to seemingly snap from one place to another. Have you changed any aspect of your connection recently?

I can now no longer connect to the Halo 5 servers at all.

Hard rebooted console,
Reset wifi,
Still laggy…now can’t connect at all.

Did another hard re-boot, I can now get on Halo 5…time to test rubber banding.
Might need to call your isp, it might help. As far as the active camo goes, i love it. Makes you have something to actually go and fight for. I even had one match that i got it and was able to melee the entire other team for the win.

Active Camo level 2 is extended. I was able to get behind the enemy lines while they harassed us taking down Warden Eternal and asassinate (with animations turned off) four enemies quite quickly.
I attribute quite a bit of that to the chaos around them, but it was pretty fantastic.
