Recon felt amazing. However, I do have a major complaint about it. Since sprint was the most used armor ability in Reach, and it was mapped to left bumper in that game, I feel it should be located there for Halo 4 as well. Also, you use sprint far more often than armor abilities in Halo 4, so it doesn’t make sense to have to take your thumb off the joystick to press x every time you want to use it. With this one little change I feel as though Recon could be perfect!
Other than that, my experience with Halo 4 was fantastic! (both the game and the panel)
If anyone wants to support this change, and/or ask me questions about what i learned/experienced this weekend, please feel free to do so below!
Did it feel like Halo?
What was your favorite weapon?

If sprint were changed to the left bumper for Recon, it would basically be the exact button layout that I had hoped for. Sprint seems like it would definitely be used much more than the AAs.
Since you said Sprint is X…
…wheres the Change Grenade button?

Left or right on the d-pad.

Sigh. I wrote something long up and my phone messed up, I’ll retype it up here soon.
