Rp version of halo?

I got a new idea the other day. Why not try Halo, but more realistically. Instead of going on multiplayer and owning everything for no apparent reason, why not work with a team to capture an enemy hold, and not just capture the flag. Just have a big map, with separate teams trying to end a war. Have it less focused on killing each other for no reason and have it focused on an objective. Have ranks separate from Halo rank. Just a thought. I’ve already made the map and the teams, just need players to try the map. This would use communications, so a headset or mic is recommended. This is just a basic forge world map, no DLC’s required. Just comment if you want to join or try

I occasionally hold a LARP over Reach, using the Community “Forerunner Conflict” as the premise for the plot. Basically there are two Outposts, one for each Faction, and each 8v8 is composed of a CO, XO, and two Fire Teams of 3. Each base has a training area, Barracks, some sort of simulated combat area, and CO tent. After each LARP, each Faction is allowed to improve their base and make additions.

The only problem is we are running into problems with the combat, because it isn’t fun if you play it normally and just keep charging each other. We’re trying to create rules to fix this problem and make it more of an RP rather than constant combat.
