rp jackpot for not quitting

it would be a nice incentive for people to not quit and to keep playing, for people who routinely finish their games, like in Reach. I think this and the bans together would help stop quitters. I have too many games where everybody leaves and I get destroyed.

I support this idea.

Agreed, my team was winning a game of breakout then one guy quits and we lose due to a disadvantage…

I made this recommendation a while ago and everyone called me entitled like I was the one quitting or begging for more RP lol

I want this added as an incentive for quitters…If they quit they loses their bonuses for x amount of time…

I completely agree with you obviously OP gives these kids their lollipops so they will behave!

I’m down for this. They had credit jackpots for people who didn’t quit in Reach.

A consecutively stacking reward system for not quitting would be a huge incentive for not quitting (quitting for reset the bonus stack).

However, people that either legitimately had to quit or were disconnected through no fault of their own (or server error, as is sometimes the case) would -Yoink- and moan to no end.

You can’t please everyone.

I just think they should do it the opposite way instead. In addition to bans for repeatedly bailing on your team like we have now, there should be a Req penalty for quitting. If you quit a game, you lose an amount of Req points equivalent to an estimate of the amount you might have gained had you stayed and won based on your past rewards for performance. If you average 2000-2500 for winning a Warzone match, quitting a Warzone match costs you 2250.

Yeah, it would kind of suck when you have to quit for legitimate reasons, but it is nothing you couldn’t regain in an hour or less of play on an average day

Checks and balances! There should be a system flag that states if it was a disconnect or a quit. All the other Halo’s had this, why not 5?

like in reach? Yeah that’d be cool

What are you talking about? None of the Halos had this, when I played Halo 3 and Reach, if I was having a bad connection night I’d continuesly get times bans.

Although supported at first I think the fact we get RP for finishing the game is incentive enough and the Ban Hammer Lurks in the Dark waiting for anyone who quits notoriously.
