Were the chances of receiving a RP boost lessened at one point? I had 400k REQ points saved up and I spend about 250k before I realized I maybe received 9 Warzone RP boost and 5 Arena boosts. I swear you used to get a RP Jackpot Boost almost every Gold pack. Did they do something or am I having incredibly terrible luck?
Probably just bad luck
If you need RP it’s going to give you XP and vice versa. If you don’t need anything your going to get common uncommons.
Prob just luck. I am stillbgeting tons of the rp jackpots and reg rp boosts.

Same here, I had almost 100 RP boost 3 months ago, now sometimes have no RP boost for warzone, and get a lot of useless XP boost…why???

But prior to this, almost every Gold pack I opened I received an RP Jackpot boost. Now, I get almost none. It’s not how it used to be at all.

Its been like that for a while now. I rarely get RP boosts/jackpots anymore. Also seem to be getting too many common/uncommon useless reqs from gold packs. Therefore I have stopped purchasing packs and mostly use loadout weapons so not to diminish my req stockpile.
When I buy a gold pack I get:
- 2 x 3000 req points back - 1 or 2 Arena XP boosts - (Sell) - 1 Powerboost usually speed boost - (Keep) - 1 or 2 Mongoose/gungoose , or scout/wharthog - (Sell) - 1 or 2 Boltshot variants or Plasma rifle variants - (Sell) - 1 or 2 Mid power weapons mostly Hydra or Incineration Canon (Sell) - Remaining BS Whatever (Sell)Basically I sell everything that I have a huge stockpile of and/or never use
And I swear unlocking everything means a worse chance of getting anything good/rare. When I do buy a gold pack as you can see above I sell all but 1 maybe 2 cards, I have a substantial amount off req points in the bank but since I am unable to get any good reqs whats the point of them, where is the sense in spending all that and getting nothing worthwhile. That’s probably the reason I find playing on different profile at a much lower SR more enjoyable.
Also has anyone been experiencing being unable to sell unwanted reqs straight away, I swear they do it out of spite! I am frequently unable to sell common/uncommon reqs straight away, I have to wait like 1 minute before getting the option to sell these cards. Also another reason I stopped buying packs.
I was getting a lot of rp boost. Now I don’t even get any kind of boost

Anecdotally I share your experience.
I used to get 1 type of Warzone RP boost (Rare or better, usually RP Jackpot rare) in each gold pack. I’d also typically get 1 RP boost in either the WZ/WZFF/Daily Login packs. Now I can go 10-12 packs (Gold/Win/Login) without a single RP boost. It’s quite annoying, instead I’ll get Common Gambit Spartan Kills or Gambit Assists.
I think they definitely and severely nerfed the amount of RP boosts that are going out. I noticed it right around the time they put out the “maintenance update”.
It’s definitely annoying, having maxed out gold I used to be able to get 1 gold pack per WZFF game with the RP jackpot. Now it takes 2 games to get 1 gold pack since I rarely have boosts. XP boosts are pointless since I’m like 2.5 million XP from the next level and the “reward” for getting there is an emblem and a usually worse than gold pack.
Bring back RP boosts.

I have that glitch as well where I cannot sell a REQ immediately lol. I tend to keep most REQs though unless it’s pure garbage like the turret or plasma turret

There has to be something up. It’s just very odd. I usually save up like 200k-400k REQ points and buy everything all at once and receive like 40+ RP boosts back This time, it took me a lot longer to save up 400k than usual and when I went to spend my points I got like 10 RP boosts out of 400k. I think there was a nerf to Gold packs like you said somewhere in between the previous time I bought Gold packs and my most recent time.

I agree. If there was a honey moon period it’s over now. It would be interesting to know if the same thing will happen if you buy the reqs. I won’t use my cash to find out though. lol

I counted just for the fun of it. I typically buy gold packs as I get to 10,000. I took 14 gold packs before I saw a single Warzone RP Boost (Uncommon), then 11 packs later I got a Warzone RP Jackpot rare. I went from averaging about 1 Warzone RP Req (Uncommon or Rare/Jackpot or Boost) per gold pack to 1 per dozen or so. There’s definitely been a tweak, which sucks. Maybe a ploy to drive more microtransaction sales.
Plus, my Warzone RP Req was a mission victory which I used in WZFF. Lucky me it glitched out in round 1 and no more crawlers spawned in after 76 kills.

Yes something did happen. This past weekend so very few packs were giving away on twitch for watching Halo Worlds, furthering speculation something is amiss.
