So, this may not be a big topic among topics however I want to address this before the game comes out. (if it’s at all possible to get it changed now that the game has gone gold, so this is probably for naught)
So after searching around and watching multiple customization videos on armor, helmets, visors, etc. I have come to fall in love with the Anubis helmet much like when the Recruit Helmet was shown as a pre-order helmet and everyone got worked up about making it the starting helmet. So I’m not asking that the Anubis be the starting helmet but one big problem I have with this helmet is it’s strange mismatch of design where the Anubis helmet has swooping or rounded curves, the visor is very blocky and shattered. It feels strange and off and, while I love the helmet, the visor puts me off from it and just feels out of place. I really feel like this helmet, much like in it’s icon, should have a curved visor. It feels appropriate to the design. (Edit: I know they look the same, it’s a matter of lighting with the icon that makes it look more rounded)
If anyone has any helmets or armor they want to talk about or see changes too, please put it here! I would love to see some changes or opinions on others favorite armor shown from Halo 5.
I don’t see much of a difference either, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And things could always be changed with an update if they wanted still, but I doubt that’s gonna happen with the armor.

Yeah, doesn’t hurt to try. Also, the difference is very hard to see once you’re used to a certain way of seeing it but if you look at the icon (and yes, I can see the shattered, strange diffuse of design as well now, looking a bit closer) but if you round off the visor it fits with it’s design in my opinion.
Also, as a side note, I am dubbing this helmet (Seeker Variant) the Wub-Wub Helmet

That’s why I said that this may very well be pointless now that the game is gold…then again, the helmet wasn’t shown till around the same time the game did, in fact, go gold so there really wasn’t much of a time to address it anyway. Still, doesn’t hurt to point it out.

Yeah I figured. Timestamps were all relatively close so just looked like a browser hiccup or something. NBD.
Yeah can’t blame ya, I highly doubt they’ll change it though since they put all the time in to design it and they decided on that variant. So like anything else, you’ll learn to love it or love to hate it lol.

Yeah, personally I’ll still love it. I think it looks very awesome in it’s design. That or I’ll use the Noble Helmet (wish it had the sun visor though).
Also, I’m a little upset about the FENRIR variant helmet. Was hoping it had a different design to it but oh well.

I’m well aware but the icon itself looks more rounded from my perspective thanks to the lighting on the visor. I just find that the rounded off design looks better for that Variant than the shattered, strange diffuse of design that the visor has currently

I’m not saying it doesn’t. I still love the helmet. I just think it looks strange being so rounded and spherical only to have such a strange shattered design on the visor.
I just think it would look better with a rounded visor.
