Working firefight us fun, that is true. However, if you are unfortunate enough to receive the death sentence of defending the garage, it becomes the worst part of the game. This round is impossible, there is simply way too many knights and a little too many soldiers, and the phaetons are unnecessary and make it that much harder to even get to the garage to defend it. This round needs a change, quick, because if I join an in progress game that is defending the garage one more time, I’m going to go ballistic.
It’s easy once you’ve done it a few times. What needs to change is the enemies should spawn outside of the base and players should spawn inside the base, not the other way around.
What we have right now is more like “take the enemy base” not “defend the base”.
This is literally the only semi-challenging round in this whole beta, and people are complaining about it…

I love the “Defend the Garage” objective. It’s a nice change of pace from the usual “Kill these guys”, and it offers an actual challenge, unlike 90% of Warzone Firefight.

That’s the point though. It makes you change the way you play, since you have to take out the Phaetons if you want to succeed.

Honestly removing them might be good because I’ve seen people hijack them and use them through the rest of the game.

Why remove them then? I get excited every time a defend objective happens because I have a surplus of plasma pistols to steal the phaetons with.
Really? I find It to be really easy. In fact. Warzone Firefight as a whole Is pretty easy. I haven’t failed yet at defending the garage. Best thing I can recommend Is get one player In a Wraith to spawn kill enemies who spawn Inside, and outside the garage. Then have one teammate as support In a ghost ultra. After that have two teammates set up on the east armory, and one on the west giving fire to distract air vehicles from the Wraith so It can safely remove enemies constantly spawning In. Also the ghost ultra along with the team fire of the players outside of the garage take down Promethean, and Covenant air vehicles fast. The remaining three who are inside should pop power boosts which will allow them to easily clear the enemies coming Inside since there being wiped out fast by the Wraith outside so there numbers aren’t so great. Even with the few enemies who spawn inside the base you shouldn’t have trouble with this strategy.
Also I know not everyone can be In a group of eight. So If you can just pop a Wraith, and do your best with It. I always carry a team of randoms pretty easy with It. Definitely If Its an Ultra. They can tank some good damage.

LOL WUT M8? Semi-Difficult. If you have competent teammates, and you, yourself is competent, the round is not impossible. LOL.
it’s challenging, but doable. if your teamates actually PUT THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE. and rush into the base. you can actually clear it out and lock it down quite easy. don’t be cheap and actually CALL IN YOUR HIGH EXPLOSIVE RECS! you know those 30 fuel rod cannons? work wonders
