So I’ve encountered this many times. Round one on Skirmish at Darkstar and we have to defend the east armory. Not to bad, right? Nope, after around 45 seconds Knights start spawning in when we only have magnums. You can use their weapons against them, but you’re gonna end up getting sniped with their Scattershots. If you manage to get past them, you then have to go against hoards of Soldiers wielding Splinter Turrets… with more Knights and Crawlers too.
I just want to know why 343 would put a round this difficult in for Round 1. I’ve yet to get past this round, and haven’t heard of any getting past it either.
this. not to mention if your team is slow to get there the Prometheans also get a huge headstart on actually taking the base. but whatever. 343 also forces you to fight two warden eternals on round 3. also there protected by about 20 damage sponge instakill knights

That’s because we don’t.
Some rounds are flat out impossible to do unless you’re with your SC. Problem is we shouldn’t have to have to bring our company members with us just to play.
The first (and only) time I encountered it, we beat it with flying colors. It was too easy to control… And it was all randoms I played with. I confirmed it after the game.
So long as it’s Covenant, it’s very easy. If you get Prometheans might as well let them have it.
And hey, it could be worse and you’re fighting banshee raiders with level two REQs and only ARs and pistols as loadout weapons on Apex 7.

Had the same but with goblins, I literally saw every knight shooting their incineration cannons in a perfect row, all against you
I feel your pain, I’ve also been crushed on this exact firefight level. We tried our damnest to hold that armory just throwing ourselves in it as best we could to stop them from taking it but we lost as well on the first round.
I’m not the guy who complains that firefight is to hard but it seems when “defend the armory” comes up to early in a match you just have to prepare to take a loss. Knights just are to much to handle, they 1 hit ko with melee and their shotty and take only about 1000 rounds to slightly inconvenience them for a moment.
I have this feeling 343 is going to look over the data as time goes on a balance some things like they usually do. Sometimes it feels like the game cheats you just because it doesn’t want you to win, like it knows you have no chance.
