From the information that has been gather below and over time, the differences has been made clear between the two different roles. More recently, there were three superintendents added to the roster, for more information check my Forum Member Ranks thread. These three new superintendents are the following:
Crazybydefault
schatten blitze
Toa Freak
Monitors:
Monitors are individuals who are not employed by 343i industries and are fans of the Halo series who have been appointed to watch after the forums. They have multiple abilities such as locking threads, editing posts, moving threads, banning users, receiving thread reports, etc.
Superintendents:
Have very similar abilities to monitors but they do not have the ability to ban users. They are appointed by monitors and chosen based on activity as well as how they interact with other users.

Monitor are full on Moderators with the ability to ban, move, merge, lock and that stuff.
Superintendents can’t actually ban, they can only lock, move merge, the simple stuff.
As of now, all past Superintendents have been bumped up to Monitor and as of now, there are no Superintendents.

See the thing is-I went on there and I noticed some of them are now Superintendents. I think Der Flatulator was one.

Yea, thats what threw me off… I do remember you saying somewhere Moa that there were no Superintendents so im curious if they are now being used…?

Oooh, I just checked, looks like some of the Monitors are now Superintendents again.
By the looks of it, they got demoted because of their inactivity, although that’s a wild guess, I haven’t seen many of them post for the longest of times.

Yeah I guessed the same thing. I mean there are some moderators on there that I haven’t even met.

I recognize all of them, but I can say a few of them haven’t been so active lately, for what reasons, heck, not my business.
Nice to see the rank being used again, honestly thought it was going to be deleted in the future due to its lack of use.

Just a script that changed the ranks to what ever I want it to say, you can download a version in my Siggy that doesn’t have Post Booter on my name, but I can provide you a link for it if you like
