Sorry for the vague title, I wasn’t sure how to put my question simply! I’m thinking 3v3 here as well.
Im curiousy as to whether people rather (option 1) siege turrets on the base, with wolverines for AA, or (option 2) AA turrets on the base with Kodiaks as artillery?
Option 1
Pros: Incredible range, convinent upgrade (fortification), wolves are cheaper, a deterrent, quick to get around and may eventually gain exp!
Cons: can reveal a base from a long distance, can’t gain exp, expensive, slow rate of fire, can become useless beyond a certain range, only attack ground, minimum range.
Option 2
Pros: dissuade large air assaults, cheaper to build, can be reupgraded on the fly, multi use. kodiaks gain exp.
Cons: still overwhelmed by air armies, expensive power cost, likely encourage the enemy air to attack a team mates base, if air spots a Kodiak defending your base they will wipe the Ko in seconds.
The problem with a mix of turrets is your base becomes unable to do either ground or air defense particularly well, especially if you use a watchtower too.
Equally, suggesting you leave behind a contingent of AA is good practice, but that leaves your actual army weak to air.

If in 3v3s, have some one focus on vehicles, someone else focus on Infantry, and the last person on air. Keep your base defended with two AA turrets and two siege turrets. Dude going Air can fly back to a base and defend if need be and the other two can go attack. And rotate who’s attacking, if vehicle and Infantry attack first, wait for them to switch to counter and rotate out the weaker army with the other army if need be. My friends and I have been using this strategy with a Isabel,Serina,Vorudis combo and we haven’t lost yet.
