Rogue Armor Question

How game changing is the stability? Been holding off on playing as well so I do not start a specialization before the codes are mailed for this particular one. Looking only for opinions from people that have used it before.

I would like to know this as well. Was thinking about doing Rogue first for the stability mod. (I’m a 47 currently.)

Well not going to help if you can’t aim. Removes recoil when shot at.

havent used it, but the ability sounds nice since you dont get your scope thrown upward when shooting/getting shot no matter how you look at it, thats useful no matter what.

I have the ability, but I haven’t used it yet. I’ve been actively trying to clear the BR Master Commendation, so I haven’t used the DMR on my Long Range Class (which is the only one with Stability).

It says it “lowers” flinch, but if it means “lower” in the same way that the Stealth package “reduces” footstep sound, it reduces it entirely (as with Stealth, walking, running, and jumping make absolutely no noise).

From what ive seen in a few videos, the flinch is still there, but it is greatly reduced

Flinching is pretty much gone when using stability

when do those codes get sent off?

All this sounds good. I have great aim so this would probably be an edge I can use to bridge the gap on my closer one on ones. Heh, a part of me was hoping it would be crappy so I could justify not waiting for the code >_>.

It reduces flinch, but doesn’t remove it. It hardly helps at all when you’re trying to snipe someone shooting you with a DMR. Still stupid hard to hit someone in the head while being shot. You still flinch, just not as much. It’s still there, and it’s still annoying.

Here’s a pic I took when testing it with a guest controller. Yes that test is at close range, but it shows that it is reduced, not removed. Left set of bullet holes are without it. Bottom hole is initial shot, upper holes are after being shot by a DMR six times. (Since seven is a kill without being headshot)

I haven’t used it too much in matchmaking, but when I did, I found it to not be very useful. It’ll be less helpful in BTB or something with long range DMR battles since the greater the distance, the more the flinch affects the precision. Overall it’s quite ‘meh’.

Really? Hmmm, it seemed to work really well for me. This is going to require some experimenting…

It’s alright. I find it actually works better on closer engagements than it does in BTB long-range battles. It really helps if you get sniped while scoped in - wish I could have used it in team snipes.
