So I noticed, while looking at a picture of the new stances and weapon skins, when my eyes came across the new armor skins, out of the three armors two didn’t seem right. One of them was clearly Venator but the other two appear to be Security and Rogue from Halo 3.

I’d say the latter two are Orbital and possibly Recon. Try distinguishing the torsos, too. Pretty sure the second is Orbital helm and chest.
From the looks of it, I see Venator, possibly Orbital, and the 3rd one is unclear. But I highly doubt it’s Rogue, as there’s already a Rogue armor in the game.

Maybe 343 decided that the Rogue armor should actually make sense and went back to the old design? Unlikely, but I can dream, can’t I?

They could always rename it, or add something onto it. Perhaps, Rogue**?**

I think the one I thought was Security may actually be Orbital without the skull (the shoulder pieces look a lot like security though) but the other one looks nothing like anything in the game right now except maybe Soldier but Soldier doesn’t have the little black dot on the mouth. I guarantee that’s Rogue just probably a new name.
EDIT: I also have reason to believe its not orbital because its not thin enough

The original was called Mk. VI(A). That would be okay, but it fits the description Rogue in Halo 4 has 10000x better than the Halo 4 armor does.**

It looks like Venator, Orbital (possibly EVA but more like Orbital), and something else. Not sure why they would add armor skins for armors we don’t even have.

The other one (what I think is the classic Rogue) has no resemblance to any armors in Halo 4. I wish someone could get an up close high quality shot of it.

It’s EOD. the black part that surrounds the visor matches, and the shoulders follow suit. The chest is the main thing that’s throwing me off, I blew up the pic even more.

There are some similarities, but since Halo 4’s armors all look so similar and unmemorable it’s hard to be certain. Not everything matches up.

Don’t be so sure. The chest doesn’t match and parts aren’t black where they should be. Nothing matches with this armor from what I can tell.
Honestly, I’m laughing that Halo 4’s armors aren’t memorable/distinct enough for anyone to tell what they are when a low res picture comes up. As someone who is a huge critic of the game’s art style this is wonderful.

The helmet on the third one looks nothing like CIO.
The third one is CIO, it’s just so far away you can’t see the 3 white circles properly. The chest and shoulders are definitely CIO, I guess there is the off chance the helmet is different, but it just looks like CIO helmet to me.
