Came 1st -3rd every match except once and only played against onyx 1800-2200 mostly even last match beat a bunch of high onyx and my placement “drummmmmrolllllll” diamond 4 hahahaha long it was a rarity to even play a d4 hahaha omfg. So all u ppl who say previous ranks which were onyxs and also who u play against mostly onyx 1800-2200 every game placing top 3 all games expect one explain

The ranking system is rubbish for ffa. Placed plat 4 this season cos matched plats/diamonds only yet now at onyx fairly comfortably (csr 1663). You are not alone. I have yet to be placed in my final division of the last 3 seasons (onyx) at all. In fact i placed two divisions below twice and one division below the other time. I would love to know the ranking algorithm is cos it blatantly sucks. See my poll on placement divisions in the forums now.
I mean vetoed beat champs and ended up diamond 6. How ridiculous is that? Whatever the 343 team did to the placement system has made it a joke.

If the system was good and you played mostly onyx 2000s say you should be onyx 1700. In fact the system should place you exactly, not with some silly cap, basically at onyx 2000ish. Some people play can only 10 games in a season so the system should place you properly first time. Placing diamond 4 would be unfairly penalising you full stop, especially if you could play only 10 games. It is a mess, quite frankly.

You think thats bad try beating all onyx last 3 matches to get Platinum 5 I even beat a champion in the 3rd to last. Worst place taken was 2nd. The system is far from perfect I am beating onyx left and right but still had to climb to Diamond 3 its such a waste of time makes em want to play matchmaking these days and if I go to warzone to relax get glitched which shocks me they still can’t update it.
