Rocket Party should have less splash damage

I’m having a lot of fun with the weekend playlist, but I can’t help but feel that the better strategy is to use three rockets and be done rather than go for the direct hit. Is it possible to decrease the splash damage? Or should it even be done? Discuss.

Not sure how that would fix anything. Players shoot 3 because the splash damage is so low that 1 or 2 doesn’t work.

Significantly lower than what is normal.

I can’t tell if this is a joke or not?

There are crucial areas of the game to update such as regional server selection, especially for the EU player base who mostly find this game unplayable…and you actually created a serious thread asking for the splash damage to be decreased in weekend rocket party…

People shoot 3 rockets because the splash damage is so low. You aren’t getting a direct hit with a rocket unless the opponent is literally standing still or you can predict the erratic movements.

Reducing it further means you aren’t getting a kill unless it’s a direct hit.

That’s kinda my point: I feel direct hits should be prioritized over splash damage kills, and 3 rockets in the zip code of an enemy is a hell of a lot easier to hit than a direct shot, you know?

Just because X is more important than Y doesn’t mean Y should be ignored.

It takes longer to shoot 3 than it does to shoot 1. If 3 splashes don’t work, it would remind me of two noobs trying to noscope with Snipers and never hit anything. Maybe that’s a good thing; I think it might be annoying though.

Unless you are an ant, there is almost no splash damage whatsoevwr.

It takes like three shots worth of splash damage to get a kill. It’s weak enough as is.

It’s called a Rocket Launcher Mate and Rocket Launcher has splash damage so it doesn’t need to be nerfed

The splash damage is just fine, it takes several splash hits just to knock down your shield. But I’d like to see this game type stick around in Misc. grab bag style playlist.

And if you lower the splash damage than your really just playing a version of Snipers with rockets… only direct hits would mean a lot more matches would run the time clock out.

YES!! Couldn’t remember the name but Please bring back the action sack with game types like this in there!
