Ain’t no Party like a Rocket Party!
Thank you for the Rocket Party playlist this weekend. For what it’s worth, here are a few thoughts, comments and suggestions:
-
Quitting continues to be a problem.
-
Idling continues to be a problem.
-
Remove sensors.
-
Adjust map weighting. For me, the same few maps repeat over and over again.
-
Include larger maps.
-
Many of the spawns are very poor.
-
Remove friendly fire. In its current state, betrayals (and suicides) are plentiful and punishable under matchmaking ban rules (according to the in-game menu warning).
-
Use the SPNKr.
-
No need to reinvent the wheel. I prefer traditional rocket slayer.
-
Make the game type available in a “Weekend Playlist" fileshare so players can download it for custom games.
My brother quickly finished the Rocket commendation, so I can’t wait to follow. At the least they should take off sensors and friendly fire, basiccally what you said.
You can leave friendly fire. Just remove the betrayals count form ban list please. Teams is just not as enjoyable as ffa. I have to pull up so many shots. And dodge so many teammates shots. Sigh seems sooo many little kids just like to stand there wildly shooting everywhere for fun… Don’t feel like picking up bans.
this is the worst gametype in halo’s entire 15 year existence.
Leave the team killing remove the ability to boot because of it. With as many rockets are flying someone is going to team kill on accident. Why do you have to get booted and have a cool down for some one stepping in front of my rocket
It’s a great mode but needs some sort of a large, fairly open, circular map to shine. Forge a circle, put a hill in the middle, let games games begin!
Add SPNKR as the secondary weapon

It makes no sense to enforce bans for betrayals and suicides in a goofy rocket game type.
I’m on the fence regarding friendly fire. As long as there are no bans, it isn’t a big deal, but there are enough griefers, trolls and fools floating around to justify getting rid of it.
Removing sensors would be nice. Betrayal banning should absolutely be fixed. Not sure where I stand on friendly fire or not. Allowing friendly fire incentivizes more accurate shots, but removing it would further accentuate the fact that it’s all out unranked madness you can just have some explosive fun with. I also think it would be cool to have the SPNKr on maps as a power weapon. Maybe have two or 3 around the map so they’re attainable but not so many that everyone ends up with one. Maybe give them ten shots with no reloads and then it runs out?
Friendly fire with me and my friends sometimes made it more fun somehow. We still won every game but we were messing around the whole time. Motion sensors out but it was a FUN playlist not just competitive, why the hell did you think we could jump so high and not die as easily?
Not a fan, i constantly reladed and waisted time , this is a healthy habbit for halo
