I just discovered, in an incredibly tight game of CTF, that people that use the Boltshot are really easy to kill with the Boltshot.
I got tired of being killed by it, so I added it to my loadoat to give them a taste of their own medicine. It worked.
Well, easy, who uses the Charged Boltshot is always a noob…
I hate the thing. I’m much happier with the Magnum.
yeah, i can’t help but feel cheap using it, I like battles where neither has an advantage in certain situation. I guess that’s while i think that the custom load outs are cool, i feel as though they are taking away from the main idea of Halo.
I still love the game though, and will still play it =)

It’s that gun you don’t want to be seen with by people you know.
I feel better using the Magnum over either Plasma/Boltshot… they both are just to over used. Ragnarok was great for CTF, but now its like a big DMR/Plasma Pistol/nade war going on.
I dislike the boltshot also I hate the guys who corner camp with it. It’s really cheap plus it only works at super close range. As for the plasma pistol well I suck at taking on vehicles so I just emp them and TRY to take em out because that my best chance at survival.
More like pocket shotgun. The thing doesn’t deserve to be in starting loadout.
Rock Paper Scissors. Who plays that and why would enyone want it in a game if they dont even play it in real life?
Meh. I started out not using it and hated dying by it. If you’ve obviously let your guard down and should die when someone is coming to chase after you when you’re weak, then you shouldn’t have much chance in living unless you have a power weapon. Not a secondary. Although people are going to say it’s a power weapon, in which I agree, I’m just putting this in its technical terms. The Boltshot is a secondary.
In either case, I started out avoiding it, just like I stated before. Died by it too much. Started using it. Now, I rarely die by it because I have the upper hand using it because it takes no skill to use and it really only takes a moron to die by it so often. I was a moron when I started playing this dumb game. Not anymore.
I abuse it All day.
It’s lol and for most maps you’d be stupid to not use it.
Sometimes I’ll kill a guy, pick it up, and then kill the next guy with it for fun. :=) I use the Magnum…
